The property has been extensively renovated to a very high standard and offers guests every comfort and convenience while maintaining its old-world charm. Particularly attractive features of the house are its exposed oak beams, chestnut floors, cut stone fireplace, open stonework walls, and comfortable modern furnishings. The space Villa Langlade offers 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, of which one double bedroom and bathroom are located on the ground floor and are, therefore, easily accessible. It has a spacious living area, an open plan dining space, with a kitchen with all amenities. At the back of the property there is a terrace with table, chairs, gas BBQ, etc. There is a huge walled garden which at times is shared with other guests. Please note: your garden is fenced therefore, pets and small children need to be supervised at all times. The Langlade estate comprises 4 houses in total, and there are 2 heated 10 x 5 meter gated pools onsite, which means you have a shared pool with other guests. There will be times when you have the pool for yourself if no other guests are onsite. Both pools have sun loungers and umbrellas. Nearest commerce/shops: Montmoreau St Cybard - 8 min drive (8.5 km). Chalais - 9 min drive (8.8 km) Montboyer - 3 min drive (1.6 km) - bio Bakery & local restaurant. Nearest train station: Chalais. Nearest TGV train station: Angouleme. Guest access Your own house with a terrace and garden (not enclosed). The pools are shared between 4 houses. Other things to note There are 4 houses onsite which might be all occupied at the same time, which means the pools are shared. The huge gardens will give all guests enough space and privacy. Each house has their dedicated parking space. Please note: we provide bed linen and towels for all guests as well as basics like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oils, water etc. We do not provide pool towels, please bring your own. We do allow pets on-site on request. A charge of €20 applies per pet. The gardens are not enclosed, so only well behaved pets please. As this is a shared space, please supervise your children and pets at all times.
