Mount Gernos is a cosy, bright, dog friendly cottage located in the Pembrokeshire village of St Dogmaels. Just a stone's throw from the wonderful Poppit Sands beach and the vibrant town of Cardigan. Lovingly renovated and well equipped, it is ideally situated to enjoy both coast and country. St Dogmaels is a lovely riverside village on the northern border of Pembrokeshire, close to the market town of Cardigan. The space Restaurants, shops, pubs, and cafés are all a short walk away; nearby Poppit Sands beach is a 7-minute drive. Poppit Sands is perfect for families with children and couples alike and dog-friendly. Spend the day nestled in the dunes or walking along the sand – always stunning, never busy. St Dogmaels is a welcoming village with a selection of pubs, an organic veg shop and a great local market every Tuesday next to the abbey and flour mill. The abbey site boasts the historic remains of a 12th-century Tironian abbey which makes an excellent spot for a picnic and has a fabulous café. Everything you need for a perfect holiday is easy to hand. This really is a perfect spot for a holiday with family and friends in a superb part of West Wales.
