Banana Paradise: Close to beach and a stunning ocean view We, a family from Germany, want to share our family-friendly part time home, built in 2023, with people, who love to spend a unique vacation with all amenities in a quiet and nature- oriented environment. Our goal was to create a place for unforgettable moments, where you feel nourished right down to your soul. Costa Rica lovers, we are looking forward to your stay! The space We offer space for 8 guests, but it is also a wonderful place for small families or couples. Start your day with breakfast on our terrace, enjoying one of the best Pelada views over the Pacific while observing gorgeous birds, howler monkeys and vibrant colored hummingbirds. At the end of the day unwind on the spacious terrace, a perfect setting for dining while savoring breathtaking sunsets. Lean back on the barstools to enjoy cocktails passed through the service hatch. Location is everything: In the charming, calm neighborhood of Pelada, Banana Paradise is surrounded by lush green banana trees, which give shade and calmness. Our house is located at the top of a quiet dead end road, where you are protected from dust and car noise, mostly with a light sea breeze around you. We are happy to have such a breathtaking view over the Pacific, where you can even listen to the sound of the waves. Pelada Beach, Nosara´s most beautiful Beach, is a 12 -minute walk, a 5- minute ride and offers 2 alluring beachside restaurants, a sheltered picturesque half moon bay, where the laid atmosphere makes the perfect place to spend the day relaxing. Make a beach hike from Playa Pelada which leads into Playa Guiones. 10 minute ride to Playa Guiones and Guiones Downtown, one of the best surfing destinations worldwide. Discover Guiones, a small village with good vibes, unique in Costa Rica! Banana Paradise is less than a 5- minute walk to Lagarta Lodge (popular Resort with Spa and Yoga), which offers amazing food, an amazing cocktail lounge feeling and a sensational view. We are half a mile away from the Nosara River Mouth, where the inland river meets the ocean. A paradise for Standup paddlers, hikers and kayakers who want to explore the jungle mangroves in the nature reserve. Great for birdwatchers and monkey lovers! Go there for a sunset and watch the sky turn marvelous colors. We used local teak wood for the floor, the ceiling and the doors. Each piece of furniture is made in Costa Rica, all of them handmade by local carpenters This is our way to appreciate the natural and local resources of Costa Rica, and keep an eye on supporting the native people. For us it is important cultivating a classic sustainable living style, while we have the privilege of staying in one of the most peaceful countries in the world. We offer Our home allows a multi- generation living and was designed that everybody has its own space. 2 bedrooms with a single bed 1 bedroom with a queen bed 1 bedroom with a king bed an an en suite bathroom 1 bedroom with a queen bed and an en suite bathroom 2 additional separate bathrooms Following Services - Pool Service twice a week - Housecleaning once a week - Electricity - Towels for kitchen, bathroom, beach and pool - Bed Sheets and duvet covers - Garden maintaining twice a week Rental prices: Monthly rental possible 5 nights stay minimum Other things to note PLEASE NOTE * The living room does not have AC but the ACs of the rooms cool down the living room as well :) * Please note the kingsize bedroom is accessed from the outside Security Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the very few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property. Internet and Electricity In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card. Please note that the Homeowner nor the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager. Water During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs. Jungle creatures We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimise the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night). Refunds No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby. Insurance We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.
