The Little House – A peaceful haven in Picardy. Formerly a chicken coop in Yonville, it was renovated in the 2000s by our grandfather. Today, it welcomes you in a bright, warm and charming cocoon. Nestled in the heart of the Picardy countryside, close to the Baie de Somme, it is ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet, nature, and a rejuvenating getaway. Parties and outside visitors not included in the booking are not allowed. The space The Accommodation: The single-story house, with an area of approximately 105 m², will welcome you into an entrance hallway, which leads to two bedrooms, a powder room, a bathroom and a large living room followed by a separate kitchen. The bedrooms: - 1 bedroom with two single beds (which can be pushed together to form a double bed). - 1 bedroom with a double bed, a desk and a dresser for storing your personal belongings. A perfect place to unwind or to work remotely: free Wi-Fi is available! The bathroom: Located at the end of the hallway, it has a bathtub, a shower, a sink and a washing machine. The living room/lounge: Equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, the sitting area is cozy and comfortable. At your disposal: a sofa, armchairs, TV, firewood for the fireplace, reading material, board games, tourist information, etc. The living area, meanwhile, is equipped with a convivial round table and a cupboard with cutlery and dishes at your disposal. The Kitchen: Located next to the living area, a bright kitchen equipped with an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a gas stovetop, dishes (plates, pots, etc.), a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, pantry storage, etc. For your comfort, the beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided. Outside: A private garden all around the house. 1 parking spot available in front of the house. Garden table and chairs, as well as an umbrella, are available during spring and summer. On site, you will find a folder containing all the practical information, as well as various tourist brochures, our tips and useful "pointers"... Baby cot, high chair and changing table available (For the baby cot, please ask your host) Oil-fired central heating + fireplace A supply of firewood is provided for the fireplace. As cleaning is not included in the price, please leave the property as clean as you found it. Please remove your dirty linens and put them in the bathroom with the bath towels, including the tea towels. No parties allowed and no people other than those who booked the accommodation.
