La Petite Maison or… The old henhouse! Completely renovated in the 2000s, the old hen house of Yonville became "La Petite Maison". A bright haven of peace, entirely shaped by the hands of our dear grandfather. Located in the heart of the Picardy countryside, it is to the Petite Maison that we come to seek calm and serenity. This outbuilding located near the Somme Bay, 35 minutes from the sea, will be the ideal setting for a quiet holiday close to nature. The space The Accommodation: The house, with an area of approximately 105 m², on one level, will welcome you in an entrance hallway, serving two bedrooms, a toilet, a bathroom and a large living room followed by a separate kitchen. Bedrooms: - 1 bedroom, comprising two single beds (which can be pushed together to form a double bed). - 1 bedroom with a double bed, a desk and a dresser for you to store your belongings. A perfect place to disconnect, or to telecommute: Wi-Fi is available for free! The Bathroom: Located at the end of the hallway, it consists of a bathtub, shower, sink and washing machine. The living room: Equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, the lounge area is warm and comfortable. At your disposal: a sofa, armchairs, TV, logs for the fireplace, reading, board games, tourist documentation… The living area is equipped with a friendly round table, a sideboard with cutlery and dishes at your disposal. The Kitchen: Located next to the living area, a bright kitchen, equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove, dishes (dishes, pots...), fridge-freezer, dishwasher, grocery storage... For your comfort, beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided. Outside: A private garden all around the house. 1 parking space available in front of the house. Garden table and chairs, as well as a parasol at your disposal. You will find on site a portfolio containing all the practical information, but also various tourist documentation, our advice and good tips... Baby bed, highchair and changing table at your disposal (For the baby bed, please ask your host) Central oil heating + fireplace A supply of wood is provided for the fireplace. For additional wood, 15 euro package As cleaning is not included in the price, please make the accommodation as clean as you found it. Please remove your dirty sheets and put them in the bathroom with the towels including the tea towels. No parties allowed or people other than those who booked the place. Tourism: The accommodation is located 40 minutes from the Baie de Somme and the pretty city of Saint-Valery. Equestrian center 20 minutes away with horseback riding available by reservation. Abbeville -> 25 minutes. You are 50 minutes from the famous Amiens Cathedral, the Hortillonnages, downtown Amiens. Mers-les-Bains, Ault, Le Tréport… Beaches and ports to visit, about 40 minutes away!
