La Petite Maison or… The old henhouse! Completely renovated in the 2000s, the old hen house of Yonville became "La Petite Maison". A bright haven of peace, entirely shaped by the hands of our dear grandfather. Located in the heart of the Picardy countryside, it is to the Petite Maison that we come to seek calm and serenity. This outbuilding located near the Somme Bay, 35 minutes from the sea, will be the ideal setting for a quiet holiday close to nature. The space The Accommodation: The house, with a surface area of about 105m², on the ground floor, will welcome you in a hallway entrance, serving two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large living room followed by a separate kitchen. Rooms: - 1 bedroom, including two single beds (can be brought together to form a double bed). - 1 bedroom with a double bed, a desk table and a dresser allowing you to store your belongings. A perfect place to disconnect, or to work remotely: WiFi is available for free! The bathroom: Located at the end of the hallway, it consists of bath tub, shower, sink and washing machine. Living room /living room: Equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, the seating area is warm and comfortable. At your disposal: a sofa, armchairs, TV, logs for the fireplace, reading, board games, tourist documentation... The living area is equipped with a friendly round table, a table with cutlery and dishes at your disposal. The kitchen: Located next to the living area, a bright kitchen, equipped with an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, gas hobs, dishes (dishes, pots...), a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, grocery storage... For your comfort, the beds are made upon arrival and toilet linens are provided. On the outside: A private garden all around the house. 1 parking available in front of the house. Garden table and chairs, as well as an umbrella at your disposal. You will find on site, a door gathering all practical information, but also various tourist documentation, our advice and good "tips"... Umbrella bed, high chair and changing table at your disposal (For the umbrella bed please ask your host) Central heating with fiul + fireplace A supply of wood is provided for the fireplace. For additional wood, flat rate 15 euros since cleaning is not included in the price, please make the place as clean as you found it. Please remove your dirty sheets and put them in the bathroom with towels including tea towels. No parties allowed or people other than those who booked the place. For the good of everyone, please respect the calm. Other things to note Other things to note: Accommodation located 15 minutes from the A28 highway, exit 4. 2 hours from Paris. Bakery, supermarket, butcher, gas station, tobacco/newsstand, post office, pharmacy… 7 min drive. Tourism: The accommodation is located 40 minutes from the Baie de Somme and the pretty city of Saint-Valery. Equestrian center 20 minutes away with horseback riding available by reservation. Abbeville -> 25 minutes. You are 50 minutes from the famous Amiens Cathedral, the Hortillonnages, downtown Amiens. Mers-les-Bains, Ault, Le Tréport… Beaches and ports to visit, about 40 minutes away!
