The Bailey: A countryside annexe at The Forge

The Bailey is a self-contained studio annexe with a private entrance at The Forge Lower Machen. With double bed, shower room, two comfy armchairs, dining area for two, outside seating area for two, wardrobe, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, kettle, toaster, small fridge and microwave. Travel cot available by request. Parking on site. Towels and bed linen provided. Situated just off the A468, very convenient but some noise from the road. The space With exposed stonework, an original flagstone floor and exposed oak beams, the annexe is sympathetically decorated. The Forge originating from c1750 is the first property as you enter the village. The shared courtyard also has stables so you may meet one of our resident ponies. Guest access Guests will have access to the annexe exclusively. The courtyard to the front is shared with the main house, as is the parking area. Other things to note Handy location for walking, running, road cycling and mountain biking. 6 minutes drive to the start of the Coed Cefn Pwll Du Park-run in Machen.
