Nestled beside a 99 acre ancient woodland, the lodge is an escape to peaceful rural life where you're surrounded by nature and wildlife. The perfect place to unwind, the lodge envelops you in cosy luxury with eco-friendly products, beautiful linens and tranquillity in abundance. Views from the lodge across the fields where you might see deer, hare, foxes, buzzards, red kites, and beautiful sun sets. Dogs welcome. The space The lodge is located on its own private section of land, half a mile from our nearest neighbour, facing the wide open fields where you are free to enjoy the peaceful countryside at your leisure. A cosy king size bed with blankets provided for chillier nights, the hut has underfloor heating to keep you snuggly and a tv, games and books for when you just don't want to venture out. There’s a table and chairs for working or dining, inside the lodge and seating outside too. The bathroom has a beautiful full size shower, high cistern toilet and luxury eco-friendly products for use during your stay. The kitchenette is small but perfectly formed with microwave, stove top, toaster and the essential tea and coffee making facilities. Outside there is a private area where you can relax under the stars or enjoy the birdsong and stunning views. Guest access During your stay you will have Woodcutters Lodge all to yourself with private patio. Car parking is next to the lodge. We welcome pets to the hut with a special bed and treats just for them. There are lots of places to walk and visit locally which are dog friendly. Please remember to add them to your reservation (one off fee applicable) and we look forward to you all staying with us. Other things to note We have a 7kw home EV charger on the property which is available on request and for a charge payable directly. We are in a wonderfully rural location. Our property is largely off grid with no immediate neighbours. Because of our location we’re not within easy walking distance of shops or a pub but only a 5-10 minute drive from the amenities and attractions you may be interested in. The outside area with the lodge has been fenced. This is a no smoking and no sparks property due to the location next to an ancient woodland. Please follow the countryside code and clean up after your dog whilst at the lodge and walking in the local area. Thank you.
