It’s time y’all! We just had our first flurries of the Winter season ⛄️ ! We welcome you to rejuvenate by the fire & enjoy this cozy cabin! The home is near W.Jefferson w/views of sunsets & sleeps 10 comfortably. The neighborhood offers: Fleetwood trail, lake/river fishing, short ride to wineries, golf course, boutiques & resorts. Or (& my preference), watch the sunset with a good book & cocktail on the 3-tier deck w/views from every room. The space A three bedroom, two bath cabin on the side of Fleetwood Mountain in the Fleetwood Falls Community. The main floor is an open living space for entertaining around the natural fireplace. The large TV provides access to all your favorite smart-apps. There is a first-floor bedroom with king bed, go upstairs to a large master with two full beds and third room with four twin beds. The unfinished basement houses all the fun: hoops, darts, air hockey, and more. A three-tier deck is off the back (remember that view I mentioned?!) and includes rocking chairs, outdoor eating space, and other lounge-worthy chairs and tables. Every room has. access. to. views. Outside we have a fire pit and gas grill. The home sleeps 10 comfortably. It is also proofed for the youngins with outlet plugs, pack and play, gate, highchair, if you need it. We prefer our house stocked and easy. Guests will find bed linens, blankets, pillows, towels & wash cloths, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo & conditioner, soap, blow dryer, iron, washer/dryer plus detergent, coffee pot AND coffee, salt & pep, butter, olive oil, ketchup/mustard, and some snacks. Small to medium sized pets are welcome for an additional fee. We offer a fenced in backyard as well. Must be discussed, first. I know you’ll treat our house just like your own. We can’t wait to host you! PS. 4WD in the winter months is strongly encouraged (required if there is snow). Other things to note Fleetwood Falls is on the edge of the New River. During summer months, we drop our floats in at the bridge and float down the river to the foot of the community, approximately 1 - 2 hours depending on how fast the water is moving and distance travelled. We are 15 minutes to West Jefferson, a vibe (!), brewery-filled, boutique-lined downtown which has become my ultimate favorite. We are 15 minutes to Old Barn Winery which is A-MAZ-ING and typically has live music on the weekends. We are 20 minutes to downtown Boone and App State, stay with us for sporting events or visits with your college-kids. We are 40 minutes to Blowing Rock and Appalachian Ski Mountain for a full day of ski slopes, tubing, and ice skating. AND, Sugar Mountain, our fav resort, is about 50 minutes.
