Have an ATV BRING IT! 430 MILES OF AMAZING ATV Roads& Famous skyline*Normal cars can take MAIN dirt roads BUT side roads only for trucks jeeps& ATVs! Some guests fail to read things about my property and home on this listing and then they will think things will be a different or a certain way when its not, then 3 of them gave me undeserved low ratings or said things that were outright not true..When they failed to read about my unique place. .Thus I need to make sure you PLEASE REVIEW ALL so nothing will be a surprise and it will bring you to enjoy my place more. *SO READ THIS (Long) OR INSTEAD THE CAPTIONS UNDER THE PHOTOS (much Shorter)..Either, or. I dont want you to be disappointed with your stay which could happen if u dont realize certain things...but realize what it is so you can appeciate it more and actually enjoy it as much we and others have/do. *Especially read the sentences with Astrics* and capitals. **SO NOW I CAN BEGIN WITH A little history and diclosures of my old 1876 pioneer home. **So Your Airbnb home is found on the west side WITHIN the very small town called Manti on over a 1/2 acre lot. *IT IS NOT out by itself like other farm houses in a large wheat or Alfalfa field but it is a mini intown farm. *Sanpete is not a lush green area but in a semi desert as is most of Utah..And though it has many green alfala and hay fields it also has its a bit rough in places with rundown or old pioneer cabins, barns, sheds, leantoos/stables for animals and old wagons wheels and old and new farming equiptment. It has lots of sheep, cattle, horses, goats, dogs, cats, turkeys chicken, elk and deer. Green fields of alfalfa, golden grain and hay, farmland, empty fields some with sage brush and rabbit brush and hills with juniper and cyprus trees and Mountains filled with pines and quaken Aspens and 20 lakes, though some small or rezervois, spread throughout our Sanpete county. Though not lush green as many states, many feel it has its own unique beauty. *We have four seasons here and trees that have incredible colors in the fall..well especially famous for our brilliant yellow aspens up ephraim canyon in the fall.. During winter they loose their leaves and seem baren and we have cold and then freezing and snow but winter has its own unique beauty. I love living where there are 4 seasons. *Realize that if you come during winter there may be snow especially in the higher mountains which ,brings no available access into them. **Your Airbnb will be the old pioneer portion of my home. *Around 1870s my home started out a sweet, smaller, recognizable pioneer home but then the owners before me added a new adition onto this home starting year 2000 and following that then aluminum sided the WHOLE home so it now looks more like an old farm house instead of a pioneer home. But it still has the original insides.. old floor, doorways, cupboads and handles and outside old porch, scroll work, shutters, door (ha.. even with original skeleton key still, to enter or lock.) and it still has a good portion of the original tin roof.. ha..even leak free.. *Since they removed the original wood stove from the livingroom we have purchased an antique ornate small one that is on the porch for now that we are hoping to install this summer where they once had the origional one. ***So because this home is an old Mormon Pioneer home And this whole Sanpete Valley has so much Mormon pioneer history, I choose to have some old pioneer artifacts and books on them in my home. About a dozen pioneer artifacts of which I found while clearing my own property. Well, My other Airbnb has even more. *(If you think you are coming into a valley of Mormon polygamists, That broke off from the LDS church, very few live in this valley.) .*Plus I have Jesus decor because, believe it or not, them Mormons do belive in Jesus too. Though my sweet husband and I attend a variety of local churches and can recommend several awesome ones. I do want my pioneer home to reflect that too. Thus my Bit o' Heaven Homestead and many have commented that they felt a bit o heaven while staying in my Airbnb s. No, YOU WILL NOT BE CHOOSING AN ORDINARY HOME but a very unique pioneer home. **(That is an awesome thing about Airbnb that one can choose from a wide variety of unique type of homes..Ha ! Even from Space ships, Airplanes, Hobit underground homes, Buddist yoga retreat dwellings, or even a Catholic monistery. Fun Tree houses, fairy or evil pirate ship themes, or even to stay in a castle room and many more themes. ISN'T AIRBNB AMAZING ! So with my home you get to stay in an old pioneer/farmlike home in an icredible town where most homes are pioneer and our small town is surrounded by farming/ranching community and valley surrounded by incredible unique mountains ATV fun mountain roads and 20 nearby or spread through out Sanpete county, lakes and incredible beautiful unique amazing canyons..Don't miss mine with the amazing, unique, seamingly sliced off mountain cliffs, and my canyon has the best and greatest ATV trails, even more than Ephraim La Sal canyon *Though for normal lower riding cars wanting to make it all the way up to the skyline (about a 45 min drive), EPHRAIM CANYON (Ten Min away.) IS THE FLATEST BEST widest easiest Road up rather than my canyon, or Maple Canyon too. *Even a normal lowriding car can get up the main road of my canyon, thougha little bumpy here and there up to the lake 15 min.. AND always leave difficult side roads for ATVs and higher up trucks or jeeps. * Best road to access the way up skyline is going up Ephraim canyon 7 miles away north on 89 then turn right at the Chinese Snow Dragon restaurant heading east and following signs for the canyon. Oh . plus we have the palisades recreational lake and Golfcorse just a few miles from my home too ! The Palisades has an awesome unique golf corse and fun lake and two incredible trails on their west side. Higher and lower trails. *NOW I still need to bring certain subjects to your awareness at greater levels than I have before due to 3 lower reviews I have gotten that I didnt deserve because they failed to read this important area before booking. ** FIRST you've got to realize that you will not be having the whole home and whole property to yourself. *As stated in my first listing paragraph: Inside you still have your own entrance and all pioneer side to yourself (Refer to inside photos) AND you will never share or have entrance of any other person/s into your area unless they are your invited guests. *BUT what you will have is Airbnb neighbors in the newer addition of this home to the south of you, up the two steps at the end of my porch, who will be staying in my Bit o' Heaven Old West Cowboy themed Airbnb side. *(In your kitchen you will notice a door with a lock on it and behind that door is two steps filled with insulation then another door that is locked from the Old west Airbnb to bring it to be soundproof, safe and private fom the Old West Airbnb guests And same for them from you on the oposite side.) **ALSO You need to realize that you cannot access my back yard area as it is still our private family area where we still have gatherings here and there and where we take turns living in our tiny home for short stays at certain times. At times, if you feel like it at the time, we will personally invite you to join us for a barbeque or to see our animals as we have them only in summer. (**THOUGH IF EMERGENCY OF COURSE EXIT THAT BACK DOOR.) PLEASE Keep that back door locked at all times. I am the only one with that key BUT I NOR anyone one else will ever enter during your stay.) **ALSO you need to realize that this home was and is still considered one of our family homes. I STILL NEED OUR KIDS, THOUGH ALL ADULTS NOW, TO STILL FEEL as IT IS THEIR HOME WHEN THEY COME TO VISIT and so there are times I will block off nights for them to stay in the Airbnbs when they come to visit their momma down in this valley that we all love, and to this home that has been a part of their older years. (Many Airbnb owners do this too I know also having their adult children stay here there in their Airbnbs) *In their earlier years we lived in Nevada, Italy, Germany, and England, Cali, Texas, NDakota and Utah (BYU ROTC admint) as my first beloved husband who passed on 6 years ago was in the USAirforce. Thus the Italian, German, English antique furniture and decor that my kids were brought up with and even a few personal family pictures but only in our farm themed kitchen Where they fit in perfect because we are mostly country folk so they blend in well. *My other Airbnb is our Texas Cowboy theme from when we lived in SanAnton Texas. Plus I have a JohnWayne wall, my grandpas saddle, hat, bolo tie and more pioneer artifacts from this old homes back yard. Book it on your next stay or invite xtra family or friends in that side while you stay in the pioneer side or some book both my pioneer and old West Airbnb and then we will open up the connecting doors so they come and go between both Airbnbs.. fun ! Recently 3 moms that were friends with their 6 kiddies did that and I had the 3 extra futons out also to accomodate all the kiddies.) *Disclosure that I no longer live on this property because Now Over a year ago God has blessed me with a new precious, sweet husband and we live 7 miles away in Ephraim.. *He performs all over with me (As I fiddle and sing country, bluegrass and Irish music, he guitars amazingly, sings with me and has folk songs too that he performs. He also plays the piano & beautiful heavenly harp even on his celtic harp! What a blessing it and he has brought into my life 💕. If you request we will even come entertain you for a bit. ) *Bare with me now as I have THREE more things you must know before you choose to book: *IT is the disclosure that because I have an old pioneer home and old vintage and antique furniture along with some older decor this brings certain things, furniture decor and areas to be stained, nicked, dinged or scratched up or at times to even not look as I ever cleaned it WHEN TRUTH IS THAT MY HUSBAND AND I AVERAGE 1 1/2 to 2 HOURS most times cleaning your Airbnb so it was cleaned. AND we even follow a strict cleaning list for you that we even check off and have on my Airbnb listing photos to review and post it on our fridge. MOST NOTHING IS NEW IN THIS OLD HOME BUT IT ADDS TO THE OLD PIONEER AMBIANCE and charm that many say they enjoy and THAT I AM TRYING TO CREATE FOR YOU. I AM NOT A NEW, PRISTEIN, NOTHING ON THE WALLS AIRBNB. IF this is what you want INSTEAD do not book me. *NOW first I will speak of the worst cases of scratched up dinged discolored things. FIRST AND FOREMOST my original 148 year old wood floor that has NEVER BEEN REFINISHED and because of that puts forth lots of history, especially when they drug the heavy metal firestove for a foot away before picking it up . We now strive to have ornate rugs to cover the worst of the floor that each time we sweep and mop and hand scrub with lemon oil that old thing may never look clean yet is majorly cleaned.. Well we will refinish it but not in the near future. For right now it actually becomes part of the pioneer charm..ha. Well plus some gauges are so deep we could never sand them away! ha. ***NOW AWESOME NEW NEWS! **For those who stayed with us within our first three months I am happy to say that WE HAVE REFINISHED OUR OLD DINGED UP SCRATCHED UP STAINED IRON TUB. IT NOW LOOKS BRAND NEW! PLUS.. WE BOUGHT A BIG TURKISH MATCHING RUG TO COVER UP MOST OF THE OLD DINGED UP PIONEER WOOD FLOOR as very sadly I was getting complaints and lower ratings from that old dinged scrat hed up floor so we finally broke down and bought a large area rug. :( YET I and others felt as it did add to the charm. :( ***Please!! Very IMPORTANT. Don't knock down my cleaning star rating because of old dinged up floors, tub, walls, home, table, or vintage or antique furniture, decor that no matter how much we clean may never look clean. BUT IT ALL ADDS TO THE OLD PIONEER /FARMHOUSE AMBIANCE I AM STRIVING TO PUT FORTH FOR YOU. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS AND THEN CHOOSE. **IF U DON'T LIKE THIS TYPE OF CHARM along with special decor then don't choose my Airbnb. I have it priced lower because all of this and with no cleaning fees either. *If you see some thing that you think is not clean before rating me lower first try cleaning it yourself and you will find that you cant get it any cleaner than I . FOR you: I CHARGE NO CLEANING FEE . For you: I ASK NO CLEAN UP before you leave, as so many do now. For you: I AM THE LEAST EXPENSIVE 3 BEDROOM AROUND. For you: WE CHARGE NO MANAGERIAL or extra FEES for extra people, as many now do. FOR YOU: WE AVERAGE 1 1/2 to 2 HOURS CLEANING EACH TIME. . **Guests dont realize that when several ratings are 3 and below then the place can be in jepordy of being suspended or even closed down. So it is critical to truly be contemplative if the place truly deserves to be shut down or if it is just has minor things that could use just a bit of help when host fail or cant get around to it or from the guest even. Like one corner that needs a bit more cleaning, or a bobby pin not noticed while cleaning, or peice of waded garbage forgotten in the can accidently overlooked, (Sorry if it is perfection in cleaning you want, We are close but not perfect) but these should not be reasons to give 3 or below rating or especially not deserving of a 2 and to be on suspention or even shut down. Just be more aware to me and other hosts that you stay at, that as little as four ratings 3 and under within a few months time can jepordize these airbnbs, when it is not shuting down that they need but instead just minor improvements or more time and money to make improvements. When their place can be a work in progress as mine has been and with my yard ever will be. I am putting so much emphisis on this because we had 3 poor ratings my first 3 months due to scratches and dings being thought as dirty, or they felt it was over decorated "clutter"or one didnt realize that the home was shared with another Airbnb and at times family in the back because they failed to read about home and property sharing and they told me I should declutter walls and not have anything personal out . But they totally failed to read up on my place. I am not a one picture a wall Airbnb!, BUT the blessing was that each of these 3 low reviews had several inacuracies and had some things stated that were obvious not true/correct like one said . "they have no cleaning fee because they never clean." when they were mostly talking of old dinged scratched up things that we clean for an average of one to two hours and then they said " and everything is broken" when everything was not broken! Only four things were and two can never be repaired . (The other two, one was thrown out and the other repaired) The person failed to read of these subjects I had posted on my listings about everything she was complaining about and it was obvious she failed to read what I even stated: "Read before booking". So thankfully Airbnb realized, agreed and validated that these 3 bad reviews and lower ratings were unfair ratings, especially since I had disclosed them in my listings. So now I bring anything I can think of here that should be disclosed up with much greater efforts/levels . THUS THIS HAS TURNED OUT TO BE WAY TOO LONG! Please forgive me for that, but I have very good important reasons why it upset me so.... SO PLEASE REVIEW ALL THIS BEFORE CHOOSING. DON'T CHOOSE MY PLACE IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT OR Then IF you DO book not liking everything seen or disclosed then YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO RATE ME LESS than a 4 just because you may not like: The the personable decor, or if U want instead a home with just one picture on each wall only, so may seem "cluttered" (Closely observe all photos for listing, or if you dont like Mormon pioneer home or artifacts, or Jesus theme, Sharing my property with another Airbnb, or old pioneer dinged up home with things that are vintage and antique furniture that may also have some dings and scratches or stains. If you wanted new and pristine and perfect home and yards instead then my home and homestead is not for you. Then Don't choose my Airbnb. Go choose perfect pristine and new and go pay much more for your dream home you do want elsewhere. But to remind you.. I have had many guests even a few hundred in the last three years who booked and even friends and family that came with them that have given me wonderful reviews, comments about my decor and home and most 5 star even with my cleanliness too. Many have litterally said: This HAS BEEN A BIT OF HEAVEN FOR US.. THANK YOU. Sadly since those three badly unfair reviews I now have to put forth all subjects with much greater levels.. Before I only stated about the old dinged up tub and scratched floor and how hard we clean them to no avail of improvements or change and a little about my other Airbnb, but now I must expound on all. **Many since I have moved here 5 years ago have given me complements on the great improvements since I bought into this majorly rundown, trashed up property that has ever been a major work in progress and is still evolving. We still have fun plans instore for the old yellow bus way in my back area that would take hiring a crane and a semi if if tried to remove it. ha. ** Please dont judge or rate that farther back property that I still am ever working on and that was so trashed to begin with. (So far 20 truckloads have gone to the dump.) ** If you want new and pristine and perfect looking you need to book somewhere else (Though guaranteed you will be paying much much more and even more with cleaning fees and even manegerial fees for some these days.). . PSSS. This should not be a put out BUT.. The top shelf in the fridge is set aside for construction workers that come regularly Mon tues wed as I rarely could ever get those days booked through Airbnb so God gave me the idea of asking regular contruction workers. They will NEVER come in to get that food plus they live far away and dont have a key anyways. ***I am sorry but because my prices are so inexpensive for my Airbnb s I do not do breakfast just have a box of pancake mix and syrup and many times various treats. ** I yearn for all my guests to feel happy and comfy and safe within our home like you are also a part of our family too *PSSSS just remembered...AT TIMES WE GO TRAVELING WE MAY EVEN HAVE SOMEONE STAY IN THE MOTOR HOME TEMPORARILY THAT WILL BE MAINTAINING OUR AIRBNBS AND PROPERTY. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE SWEET, FUNLOVING, SAFE PERSONALITIES SO DONT FEEL to THINK OTHERWISE. HA.. WE Deserve vacations too YA KNOW. PSSSS.. I feel I need to state also that the money I make from my Airbnbs do not go towards me, or vacationing, or to get rich.. My money made here has most always gone to others, even three that I help at this time that can be in serious jepordy of becoming homeless if I do not help them, so I will not give up on helping them and others. THIS AIRBNB INCOME Is VERY VERY CRITICAL TO other very important people in my life. All my life giving has been a big part of any monies earned, rarely has my money earned gone to me. I learned this from very young from my parents and sweet gram that brought me up on her ranch several summer months of my life.. They would help family, friends and strangers.. That is me too. THAT WAS WHAT JESUS TAUGHT ME ALSO. Hey so sorry this turned out so long.. I get carried away by detail and so emotional over any bad ratings espec ially ones I don't deserve. I have made great improvements since i started Airbnb 3 years ago and even the last 3 months since I started my pioneer side and I will continue to improve and improve. The door at the end of the porch and up the two steps is my 2nd Bit o Heaven Old West Airbnb and it is important to realize you may be sharing that front porch and large front yard to with them(Though rarely do people sit or play on my front porch or yard. ) AND THEN IT IS IMPORTANT TO REALIZE THAT THE BACKYARD AND TINY HOME IS MY PRIVATE FAMILY AREA.
