The space Welcoming you into the pod is the wood-clad open-plan living area. Here you can sit back and relax on the sofa or cuddle chair, cook up a feast in the compact kitchen and dine in style on the table for four. The natural wood hues make the space feel warm and cosy, with soft furnishings ensuring you feel immediately at home in this quirky abode. Walk deeper into the pod and you’ll find the two calming spaces to rest your heads at the end of the day, one of which features a king-size bed and the other a twin (which can be made up as a king on request). Completing the property is the shower room where you can refresh after your day’s adventures. Step outside and the views are awe-inspiring from every angle. With a fire pit, picnic table and hot tub, you’ll have all you need for evening entertainment whether you opt to dine al fresco or sip a glass of bubbles in the warmth of the tub. Lovers of wildlife must visit the Gilfach Nature Reserve (2 miles) located on the hillside where 400 acres of woodland, moorland and grassland are home to a vast array of creatures, rare plants and fascinating habitats. Here you’ll also find a cafe for tasty treats, and a selection of waymarked walking routes to join for a further adventure. Opt for an adventure to the Elan Valley where you can find the waterfall walking trail, six dams and some of the best viewpoints in the area which are a feast for all the senses.
