The space This listed house has been sensitively updated to provide all mod cons for your relaxing holiday, with some internal changes of level. Step into the kitchen/breakfast room, where the equipment includes a boiling-water tap and retro-style fridge/freezer, and there’s a breakfast table for eight built around the island. This room leads to a stunning conservatory dining room, and a sun-room lounge with a corner wood burner. Take steep stairs from here to reach the ‘crow’s nest’, a comfy nook for relaxing under the eaves. Below the stairs you’ll find a bar area with a coffee machine and wine fridge. In the cosy snug (which leads to a small study) there’s a Smart TV/DVD as well as a second wood burner. On this level there are also two bedrooms, a king-size and a double, plus a shower room and a bathroom. From the lounge you can access a double and a twin bedroom on the first floor, plus a bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower, while another set of stairs at the back of the house leads to a twin room. The garden has a huge lawn with a swing seat, and a patio dining area with a built-in BBQ. From the lovely village of Syderstone you can enjoy tranquil walks and cycle rides, exploring the large common or venturing into the beautiful countryside. For a choice of shops and places to eat, head to Fakenham, 8 miles or, if you feel like a day at the seaside, Holkham Beach is 13.5 miles.
