Description
Set on a 20 acre farm, this tiny eco-home is situated among eucalypts, looking over a young vineyard, and sharing space with a gin distillery and 6 gorgeous llamas. The space The tiny home is self-sufficient and 100% off grid with solar power, gas for the stove, and fresh rain water that's drinkable. It has a reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you cosy in winter and cool in summer. The loft bedroom has a very low ceiling, but great ventilation. You may need to "roll" into bed, but as it's a Sleeping Duck mattress, you will have a very good nights sleep. Please note, the property is not suitable for children given there’s no safety or guard rail on the stairs to the bedroom area. The bathroom has a full size shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided, but as we are on a septic system, we have chosen a composting toilet which we are happy to guide you through in using. However, if you really need to use a flushing toilet, there's one at the Distillery that's always available - day or night. The tiny home is private and looks over the (young) vineyard and towards Mount Ida. There are always roos jumping about the property and birds flying about, but otherwise you will not be disturbed. Guest access You have access to roam about the property and visit the distillery, we just ask that you don't venture in to see the llamas unless you let us know first. We are happy to provide some llama pellets if you wish to feed them. Other things to note 1. The tiny home has a composting toilet and uses peat moss as it doesn't flush. We recommend you following the instructions of use and to keep the lid closed. We understand this type of toilet will not suit certain guests, so we do have a flushing toilet at the Distillery which is always available. 2. The bedroom ceiling is low and a little awkward to navigate, but once you're in bed it will feel cosy and comfortable. 3. We do not have any window coverings, so if you like to sleep in the dark as the sun rises, it’s best to bring an eye mask with you. There are extra eye masks in the kitchen drawers.
