This delightful, detached barn conversion is set within a working farm which has 200 acres of organic farmland, making this a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle of life in the middle of Devon. Staying on this beautiful farm will make you feel like the rest of the world is thousands of miles away. The space Watch life on the farm and meet some of the resident animals, or just a five minute drive down the road is the pretty village of Iddesleigh where you can dine in an award winning pub, The Duke of York, and visit the area that inspired Michael Morpurgo’s War Horse. Or if you feel the need to venture further afield from the farm, both Dartmoor and Exmoor are easily accessible, as well as beaches such as Westward Ho!, Instow, Lynton, Lynmouth, Bude and Widemouth. Other nearby attractions include RHS Rosemoor, Woolly Animals and Stafford Moor Fishery. Cyclists and walkers are also well catered for in this area, and the popular Tarka Trail is close by. Stepping inside through the arched doorway leads into the entrance hallway. From here a door leads into the lounge/dining room which features original stonework and beams. The lounge area has a Smart TV and Blu-ray DVD player, as well as French doors leading out to the enclosed garden. There is ample space around the dining table to enjoy leisurely meals. The dining area leads through to the kitchen which is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, two fridges, countertop freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Heading upstairs there are three bedrooms - one king-size bedroom with a TV and en-suite shower room, one super-king-size bedroom which can be changed into a twin (on request at the time of the booking) which also has a TV, and one bunk bedroom. The main bathroom has a bath with a separate shower and WC. There is also a separate downstairs WC. Outside there is an enclosed garden area with a private hot tub, BBQ, garden furniture and child’s play area - everything you could need to enjoy a night under the Devon sky!
