Enjoy the good life at this centrally-located place. The space The apartment is in the basement of a detached house with south-facing windows in the garden. The rooms are bright and equipped with lacquered wooden floors. Bedroom, living room and kitchen are connected without doors. The house was built around 1920 and it was primarily technically modernized. For example, we have preserved the existing old wooden floors and wooden doors, as we appreciate the old charm. We live in the house with a family of 5 and are always available for questions and assistance. Guest access As a guest, you use the separate entrance to the house and can check in and out independently via a key box if necessary. Other things to note The apartment is a 20-minute walk from downtown. This gives you all the advantages of downtown proximity and at the same time a quiet retreat close to nature. The walking distance to the “Bergmannsheil Clinic,” the “Theater Total” and the “Theater Center of Folkwang University” makes the apartment an ideal place to stay. Just a 7-minute walk away is the U-Bahn stop towards the main train station, Ruhr University, University of Health and Bochum University. The bus stops are just two minutes away. After a short walk along Königsallee or through the settlements, you will reach the "Bermuda3Eck" with its unique concentration of pubs, beer gardens, restaurants, cinemas and nightclubs. All fans of the "real" cult sausage from Dönninghaus will find what they are looking for here: In the Bratwursthaus, visitors can enjoy the cultural asset currywurst sung by Herbert Grönemeyer as an unforgettable original. Bochum is located in the heart of the Ruhr area and the apartment is also easily accessible by car via the 448, the A43 and the A40. On the street there are usually always plenty of parking spaces available. By arrangement, we can also make room and it could also be parked at the house and under certain circumstances a vehicle could be charged via 230V or 380V.
