Escape for an enchanting getaway with splendid lake views! You will enter the private, well-appointed guest suite on the ground floor lakeside of our main home. Step into the open living space with a beautifully designed wet bar and picture windows framing your lake views. Indulge in the 2-person hot tub, chat around the fire pit, and relax on the sun patio or sit on the dock for more lakeside serenity. Ask us about boat tie-up availability. Come enjoy LakeLife! The space LakeLife Retreat is freshly remodeled ground-level lakeside suite with private entrance. There are a series of landscape stairs required to navigate to the guest suite from the parking spot. Motion lights & landscape lights will lead the way if you arrive after dark. The open living area is the perfect spot to relax with your favorite streaming service or take in the lake views. The wet bar area features a small size retro refrigerator and basic items for enjoying takeout or a meal you prepare on the gas grill with side burner (no cooking is permitted in the suite per county ordinances). The bar is stocked with glassware, dishes, silverware, tools/pans for use on the grill, and a starter quantity of coffee, tea & hot chocolate. A king size bed & black-out curtains will greet you in the main bedroom which reportedly offers the "best night sleep ever." Access to the secondary bedroom is through the main bedroom and that great space offers a cozy queen bed, a table for playing games, a second TV and a half-bath. The main bathroom features a splendid tile shower, double vanity and walk in closet with ample space for you to refresh. We supply quality bed & bath linens plus hot tub towels. If you must work during your retreat, we have set up a private office space including an ergonomic chair and monitor. The Smart TVs are Wi-Fi enabled allowing you access to your favorite streaming services. You will also have access to a full-size washer and dryer during your stay and you'll ensure your own comfort with full control of heat & air conditioning. Just outside the door is a patio to sip coffee or a cocktail while admiring the lake view, a 2-person hot tub to relax your troubles away, and a gas grill for your use. You are also welcome to start a fire at the fire pit and chat under the stars to the sound of crackling timbers. Guest access You'll have full access to the guest suite, patio, back yard, fire pit, and dock. You are welcome to bring your own kayaks or paddle boards to launch from the dock. Wanna bring your boat? Ask us about availability of dock tie-up space. Other things to note Our permit maxes out at 4 guests, so we cannot accommodate any additional guests or parties. If you plan to bring your boat please ask us first! We'll chat with you about what we can and cannot accommodate. Smoking and vaping are prohibited anywhere on property. Note that cooking is not permitted in the suite per county ordinances - there is a gas grill & side burner on the patio available for your use (plus pots/pans/utensils too). We're about 30 minutes from CLT Airport, 35 minutes from Uptown Charlotte, and 20 minutes from the popular Birkdale Village in Huntersville.
