The space With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and extensive private outdoor areas, Villa Iolis can accommodate up to 4 + 2 guests. A villa definitely not to be missed! Inside, Villa Iolis is set over 2 floors and is fully air-conditioned, both in the bedrooms and lounge. All the details have been carefully designed to mix style and functionality for a perfect holiday under the shining Greek sun. On the ground floor there is a large open plan lounge (double sofa bed to accommodate 5th and 6th guests), a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a twin bedroom with direct access to the pool, patio and shower room. Stairs lead up to the upper floor where the master bedroom suite is located. Featuring a romantic beamed ceiling, the master bedroom has its own shower room as well as a balcony overlooking the pool, the green mountains and the Greek Mainland with the Ionian Sea in the distance. Outside, the villa is surrounded by extensive private manicured gardens with lawn, shrubs, scented flowers and trees providing well deserved shade during the hottest months of the summer. A real oasis just outside the prettiest and most cosmopolitan town of Lefkada! The sparkling private swimming pool, equipped with comfortable sunbeds and parasols, measures 8m x 4m (depth 0.9m - 1.6m) and is beautifully lit at night. For delicious charcoal grilled meals, Villa Iolis is equipped with a brick-built barbecue as well as a poolside shaded dining area. Private parking is available on the premises. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the rental price quoted includes air-conditioning in the whole villa, wi-fi internet, maid service twice a week, change of linen and hand/bath towels twice a week. A refundable security deposit for damages (euros 300) is required on arrival and refunded at the end of the stay. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
