This extraordinary piece of real estate on a private escarpment has stayed in the family for 3 generations. The land formed part of the first selection made for Montville. The space This private, elegant, boutique two bedroom cottage (each with private ensuite) has an internal fireplace at the heart of the open plan to give a warm rustic charm. Fall into the oversized cosy linen couch or sit at the window seat or run a bath on the verandah to relax and soak up the views. Make use of the outdoor fire pit or dine on the deck and just sit and watch the colours of the sky change for a stunning sunset. With expansive, impressive views there is so much for your eye to explore. Use the Binoculars to zoom in on what has caught your eye or to count how many ships are off the coast. Stargazing is amazing when the skies are clear and when the storms are moving across the coast it is visually impressive. Luxury linen sheets with feather quilts, bath sheet towels, cotton robes and slippers are provided with lovely bathroom amenities for your use. We really have thought of everything for your stay. Extra bath towels are provided for the outdoor bath with bath bubbles and salts. The fully equipped kitchen with stone bench top, Smeg appliances, Belling oven and gas cooktop has essential basic pantry items stocked for your use- including olive oil, salt and pepper grinders, Balsamic vinegar, individual sugar sachets and organic tea selection offering both black, and herbal teas. Enjoy a fresh made coffee with the Nespresso pod machine *coffee pods supplied. Please note – there is a strict no party policy, nor is the property to be used as a party venue or for functions or gatherings. Guest access Access is for the entire home. An information booklet as a pdf file will be sent via email prior to check-in. Access code for key lockbox will be provided on the day of arrival. Other things to note Less than one minute drive to the quaint town of Montville. Explore the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and all it has to offer. With the beautiful and volcanic rich red soil we ask that you keep in mind dirty shoes and feet - particularly on carpets, furniture and bedding. The Property has a septic system. There are bins and bags provided for all sanitary items in both bathrooms. Tank water is run by an advanced rainwater filter system with additional ultraviolet technology. Water is professionally tested and safe to drink. Cleaning and personal products provided for you to use are septic safe and earth friendly. Winds come up quickly in the night so fire pit must be smored fully before retiring and is not to be left unattended. During the summer months the indoor fireplace will not be set as ready to light.
