A hidden gem and the perfect getaway tucked up in Sterling Valley, Stowe! 10 minutes to downtown Stowe, 20 minutes to Stowe Mountain Resort. Sterling Brook Studio has all the serenity of the woods, the quality of Stowe and the beauty of Vermont. SBS has a full kitchen and 3/4 bathroom, propane heat with ambient flame, lock box and private entrance, new smart TV, reading seat & lamp, 2 dining areas, and a queen bed. Winter Reminder: 4WD or AWD vehicles necessary // strongly recommended. The space Sterling Brook Studio was recently updated and is ready for your relaxing getaway. This peaceful spot is close to the town of Stowe, nearby trails for walking, hiking and biking in the summer, and skiing in the winter. We have our own swimming hole in Sterling Brook right on property, perfect for these hot summer days! The studio is an addition above a 3-car garage with its own private entrance around the back. It is a very peaceful location with the sound of the running brook water creating a beautiful ambiance. Winter Reminder: Stowe is a mountain town and conditions can change rapidly. We always recommend snow tires & AWD/4WD in the winter months, our road is off the beaten path. Guest access Parking and entry for Sterling Brook Studio: once guests are in the driveway take the first sharp right uphill and park behind the 3 car garage. Guests have access to entire studio and backyard. There is no entry downstairs of the studio, the only entrance is through the back sliding glass doors. The door at the bottom of the stairs remains locked during the duration of your stay. Other things to note There is a key to lock the sliding back door and lock box where the key can remain for the duration of your stay so it doesn't get lost. The water from the faucet is safe to drink, it is filtered well water. This is a wonderful location to unplug. Only a short walk across the yard past the shed takes you down the hill to Sterling Brook... it is a must see while staying here :) Our dog Lacy will most likely greet you at some point, she is very sweet. Please send us a message if there are any worries here. Please do not leave any garbage outside, it will attract bears. All food scraps can be discarded in the designated compost can.
