Welcome to our second home in Steibis - to your home! If we don't rent it, the FOUR of us use the apartment ourselves. And we appreciate it! A "cool hideaway" for active nature lovers! Whether hiking, golfing, tobogganing, climbing, skiing, swimming or simply relaxing - in Oberstaufen-Steibis you will find EVERYTHING! Our apartment is the perfect place to spend unforgettable family vacations or romantic getaways. We love it here and you surely will too! The space The renovated 3-room apartment is located in the center of the mountain village of Steibis, in a private cul-de-sac and thus in a very quiet location with unobstructed views of the alpine landscape around Oberstaufen. Steibis is one of the most beautiful mountain villages in the Allgäu. It is attractive all year round, because it is embedded in a diverse mountain landscape, which presents itself differently in every season, but always equally fascinating. The entire apartment is equipped with very high-quality furniture and has a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a large south-facing balcony with a view of the Hochgrat. From the apartment, it is just a short walk to the Steibinger village market (supermarket), the Steibis mountain dairy, various restaurants and everything you need for a successful vacation. The motif "KUH'L" is real here and you will discover it everywhere in the renovated apartment. You will enjoy our fully equipped kitchen, the covered south balcony with a view of the Hochgrat and comfortable seating. In bad weather, books, games, puzzles, as well as toys for toddlers invite you to entertain yourself. Two bedrooms and a living/dining room offer maximum privacy. - Bedroom 1 has a comfortable king size/double bed (180 × 200) and generous storage space in the sliding door closet. - Bedroom 2 offers you a bunk bed (90 × 200) as well as plenty of storage space in the closet and shelves. - The living/dining room, our center of coziness, is equipped with a very large corner couch and there is access to the south balcony. Numerous entertainment media are available. The Panasonic smart TV with Bose soundbar, for example, offers you great home cinema pleasure. In addition, our Alexa offers you support! The cozy dining table with "buffalo" chairs can accommodate four people. - The new kitchen has everything you need. You will find a stove with double ceramic hob, extractor hood, microwave with baking function, filter coffee machine and Tassimo cups machine, kettle, soda maker and many other appliances as well as a large number of cooking utensils. - The renovated shower room has a sink with a cabinet and a shower. - The toilet is separate. All rooms are very light-flooded and can be individually temperature-controlled. Free underground parking, Wi-Fi, ski and bicycle storage are available during your stay. The apartment is equipped with smart thermostats, a smart TV and an Alexa "device." ----------------------------------- Linen package consisting of bed linens and towels (bath towel, shower towel, hand towel and guest towel) is not included in the overnight price. This can be optionally requested and booked at an extra cost. ________________________ Guest access Underground parking, ski/bicycle storage can be used during the stay. The underground car park has direct access to the staircase of house C and the apartment. Other things to note Smoking is not permitted. Unfortunately, no pets are permitted. __________________________________________________________ !!! From 06/01/2025 we are rental partners of Oberstaufen Plus !!! Thus, from June, your stay with us will be even more eventful. In addition to our own services, you get many leisure activities for free with the Oberstaufen PLUS guest card – so your Allgäu vacation becomes an all-inclusive package. You can easily use the Oberstaufen Plus services via the Allgäu-Walser app. Only for skiing is a chip card still necessary. These will be provided by us before you hit the slopes. You can find more information at Oberstaufen Plus. __________________________________________________________ Tourist tax Markt Oberstaufen: The municipality of Oberstaufen requires a visitor's tax (Allgäu-Walser-Pass) from every holiday guest. The transfer is made separately and is not included in the rental price. The spa amount will be forwarded by us directly to the municipality of Oberstaufen. Payment terms and link to online check-in will be sent to you by email prior to arrival. The guest passes will be provided to you digitally (new from 11/12/2024). These serve as proof of payment of the visitor's tax. The following birthday rule is valid for the calculation of the visitor's tax from December 1, 2025: - €3.50 per day for adults (persons 16 years and older) - €1.75 per day for young people (people from 6 to 15 years old) - Children (persons under 6 years of age) are exempt For persons with a degree of disability of 70 and corresponding proof, the visitor's tax is reduced by 25%. People with a degree of disability of 80 and corresponding proof are exempt from the fee. Accompanying persons who have entered the "B" symbol in their severely disabled person's pass are exempt from the fee. We ask for your understanding that we can only take these circumstances into account if it has been announced in advance, as we are applying for a reduction or exemption from the tourist tax on our part.
