Most properties in the area rely on local streams for water, which can carry contaminants. Our water comes from an 80-meter deep well straight through solid rock, making it naturally pure and safe. For extra assurance, we filter it four times, though it doesn’t actually need filtering—giving you peace of mind and a taste of some of the cleanest water on the peninsula. Guests of Casa Pipeline also enjoy access to the shared Surfside Lodge pool and BBQ area, complete with fast Starlink WiFi — perfect for streaming, remote work, or sharing your adventures. The nearest grocery store is in Puerto Jiménez, about 45 minutes away, so we recommend stocking up on food, drinks, and supplies before you arrive. The road from Puerto Jiménez is rough and challenging, with steep hills, rocks, and river crossings. A high-clearance 4x4 is highly recommended for a safe and comfortable journey. By planning ahead and expecting some bumps, the drive becomes part of the adventure! Casa Pipeline is one of the last properties at the tip of Cabo Matapalo. If you pass Lapa Rios or Bosque del Cabo, you’ve gone too far — turn around and head back. Please do not continue toward Carate. We’re excited to host you in this truly special, remote location.
