Surrounded by the nature of the hilly Appenzell region - between Lake Constance, Säntis, St. Gallen and Bregenz - is our Appenzeller house, which has been lovingly converted with attention to detail. We feel comfortable in the role of host and look forward to our visitors! The space Our detached house is beautifully located on a great sunny south-facing slope. You'll love our place because of the quiet surroundings and the beautiful view. The apartment conveys the charm of the older Appenzell houses. We have deliberately provided them with modern and contemporary elements/technology. The rooms are comfortably and cozily furnished. My place is good for families, also accompanied by grandparents, or for small groups. If you are close to nature, you will feel particularly comfortable here. The beautiful seating area, which is exclusively available to our guests, invites you to enjoy. The new central heating and the pellet stove in the living room make the apartment very cozy and cuddly even in winter. Your landlords live on the first floor. They are available to help you during your stay. However, it is important to them to respect your privacy and not to put themselves in the foreground. Important: In winter, the access road can be challenging to drive on, depending on the snow conditions. The hosts make every effort to keep the road as passable as possible by plowing or milling. Nevertheless, we recommend that you provide your vehicle with winter equipment (winter tires, 4x4 or snow chains) and pay attention to this when booking a rental vehicle. Guest access The lockable apartment with private access is located on the 2nd floor and in the attic. Due to the two floors, it is very spacious and has some retreat possibilities. Our guests also have their own seating area with a large table and chairs, deck chairs and umbrella. Other things to note We live here in a rural area. In the area, there are often sheep and cows, the children are very impressed by them.
