Elenora's Casita in Palm Springs

Forget your worries in Elenora's Casita as you will enjoy a private spacious and serene 550 sq. ft. short term vacation rental attached to the host's house on a property which is one third of an acre. A gated and secure property. The Sunset Park neighborhood is very quiet. Street parking is abundunt to allow parking in front of the property. The pool does not have a heater. The three gates in front of the property were inspired by Dutch artist, Piet Mondrian, 1872-1944. PS ID/TOT #067910 The space The property is on a third of an acre allowing for privacy and a quiet environment. Visitors are supplied a code for keyless entry for the curb gate and the casita. The casita is attached to the host's home. There are no shared living areas with the host. All the rooms in the casita are large; living room, bedroom, closet, and bathroom with an oversized walk in shower tiled with vintage 70s Argentinian tile as pictured. The bed is a king. The front and back patios are furnished with vintage Mid Century Modern patio furniture. Most of the bedroom and all of the living room furnishings are authentic vintage Mid Century Modern. There is a mini/dorm fridge, microwave, and Keurig in the bedroom closet as pictured. Limited amount of snacks, bottled water, and coffee supplies are provided. The living room has a large television that is cable accessible with your passwords. Wifi is provided but not a guarantee due to occasional Spectrum issues. The MCM fireplace is for decorative purposes only. There is also a snowbird/guest house on the property that may be occupied by up to two guests during the time of your casita rental. The pool does not have a heater. The guest that makes the reservation is REQUIRED by the city of Palm Springs to submit a PICTURE of their GOVT ID before arrival through the Airbnb message board/portal to the host, and the name of the other guest if applicable. According to city of PS the Rules and Regulations form will need to be signed by all guests upon arrival and given to the host asap. Guest access Guests will have access to the attached casita from the front patio furnished with a vintage Mid Century Modern patio table. The back yard can be accessed from the bedroom double doors that open to a beautiful 60s Hollywood Regency patio set. There are two extremely comfortable pool lounger chairs that will lull you into a nap. The 40 feet long pool does not have a heater, so the water will be cold until mid April. The diving board is off limit to all guests. On street parking is plentiful in front of the property though no parking directly in front of the entrance gate. Early check in is often available. For the television guests must use their own password for streaming. Youtubetv is not available. The tv is not user friendly. Other things to note A bit over a one mile drive and five minutes from Elenora's Casita to downtown/ Palm Canyon Drive where numerous restaurants and boutiques are located. The Palm Springs airport is about a one mile drive. The convention center is also one mile away. It is about a ten minute drive to the world's largest rotating aerial tramway which takes you to the top of the majestic Mt. San Jacinto Mountain. The pool does not have a heater. The guest that makes the reservation is required by the city of Palm Springs to submit a picture of their GOVT ID before arrival through the Airbnb message board.
