The space Welcome to Masia Can Casas, a typical Catalan style country house from the 17th century, located in the middle of nature in the centre of the Maresme region near the village of Sant Iscle de Vallalta. The property consists of the traditional central farmhouse and its outbuildings, which were completely renovated in 2022/23 and now offer a modern standard with the charm of a country house. One focus of the remodelling was to make Can Casas comfortable and sustainable at the same time: well water is used for the pool and toilets, photovoltaics for electricity and biomass for heating. Surrounded by greenery, the property is only 10 minutes away from the beaches of Sant Pol de Mar. Our modern flats offer the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, and a Wireless Local-Area Network (WLAN) with 600 Mbit connection allows digital nomads to work easily in every corner of Can Casas. For longer stays, several washing machines and tumble dryers are available free of charge. Outside, Can Casas has several terraces, a heated (April - November) 12x4m pool, a spacious garden with areas for succulents, citrus fruits and vegetable garden, a summer kitchen with barbecue and a chicken coop. Guest access Guests have access to shared areas including the garden, the summer kitchen, and the pool area with pool terrace. During your stay We are Claudia and Sören. As "Chef de la casa" and "Monsieur Bricolage," we take care of our guests with a clear division of tasks and with all our hearts. Since we live in the Masia ourselves, we work every day to create a little paradise here and to provide a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere in nature. Contact us at any time; we are always here for you. We offer a variety of activities, including guided hiking and road bike tours, cooking classes and much more. We are happy to take care of your wishes, whether it is reserving a table in an outstanding restaurant, arranging a rental car or making sure you feel at home. Food is very important to us: We are happy to serve a delicious breakfast, offer dinner or put together a picnic basket – depending on the season, also with vegetables and fruits from our own garden. If you like to cuddle with dogs, you can do that with Lima: Our little Beagle girl is extremely curious, sometimes still a little anxious, and runs around all the time and everywhere; the only thing she likes better than food is a cuddle behind the ears. Other things to note Guests should note that Catalunya charges a "Tourist Tax" for all touristic accommodations.
