The space The house, which dates back to 1540, can accommodate up to 18 guests and will provide you with a wonderful venue in a very private setting. There is an oak-panelled central hall, a large drawing-room and a dining-room The Pentrehobyn Estate is approached via a long private drive and is set among 100 acres of picturesque parkland in Flintshire, near Chester. The house is still owned by direct descendants of the original owners, the Lloyd family, from medieval times. The concept of entertaining family or friends in the privacy of a larger private house has become increasingly popular. The key to your stay at Pentrehobyn is the flexibility that this provides; you can do your own catering from the house’s fully-equipped kitchen or order individual meals from our extensive choice of menus. A selection of board games is also available in the drawing room. A range of daily newspapers can be provided. Other things to note We have set a limit of two very well-behaved dogs at a time. We charge £75/dog, which covers additional cleaning and checking the gardens after departure. Dogs are not allowed on the sofas, chairs or beds, nor are they allowed upstairs or in the bedrooms. Dogs must sleep in the kitchen and should not be left alone. Please bring dog bedding. Please keep your pets under close supervision - the garden fence/ wall is not dog-proof and there are livestock in the surrounding fields.
