In the well-kept very nicely landscaped private guest relax garden, you will find various idyllic seating areas in the sun and shade. The cosy gazebo with a panoramic view of the garden is ideal for drinking coffee, reading and planning the next day in peace. Mostly in the shade is a small, cozy garden seating area with spring stone. For an evening walk, there is a circular route (approx. 2 km) from the house to the "Hallgarten". There, you can visit a beautiful country-style flower garden with a herb bed made from local natural stone. They are in the forest in 20 minutes on foot. In the village, you will find a restaurant/pizzeria just under 10 minutes away on foot. The "Masdascha Burgherrenweg" awarded as a premium hiking trail can be reached directly from the FW, and in the immediate vicinity you will find several premium dream loops. Another highlight of the region is Germany's most beautiful suspension rope bridge, the "Geierlay", which can be reached from the neighboring village, with the premium circular hiking trail underneath Geierlayschleife. In the animal adventure park in Bell ( 10 min drive ) you can spend a relaxing day. How about a visit to the gemstone metropolis of Idar-Oberstein to visit the gemstone and mineral museum and the famous rock church. The varied and tranquil environment with the best starting points to the Mosel and Rhine with its numerous museums palaces and castles such as Elz Castle, Reichsburg Cochem, Marksburg in Braubach, Ehrenburg in Brodenbach and much more promise interesting excursion destinations.
