Walk down about dozen stairs off the deck to the lake with a partner to kayak without worrying about tides. After exploring the city, local parks or the lake, unwind with the guitar, play board games or watch TV. The space Located a little outside the quaint maritime city of Gig Harbor, this 1800 square foot, two story A-frame rests on a narrow, nearly quarter acre property nestled in a quiet, dense and humble residential neighborhood (not the woods) although this community is filled with many tall towering trees. For a walk in the woods, drive a mile out to the Rocky Creek Conservation area. A level two EV charger is available on premises. To play tennis (and pickle ball or badminton if you don't mind playing in a tennis court), basketball or run around in a field, drive or walk a mile to the community play area. This house has the following rooms all conveniently located on the ground floor (ideal for young kids and grandparents): -Bedroom with 2 twin beds -Bedroom with 1 queen bed, one small portable laptop desk and a guitar -Washer & dryer with laundry supplies including wool dryer balls and ironing equipment -Kitchen with common kitchen appliances - (basic blender, toaster, microwave), whole coffee beans (decaf and regular) & sugar, coffee bean grinder, nearly a dozen of common spices, cookware, bakeware, mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, dinnerware, cutlery, knives, stemware -Living room with lake towels -Dining room with dining table for ten people -Bathroom (with tub) stocked with essentials and grab bars in the shower/tub -Deck with two reclining outdoor chairs The following are located on the second floor: -TV room equipped with Roku -Bedroom with a queen bed -Office with desk and twin bed -Bathroom (with tub) stocked with essentials Supplies for little ones are provided: -pressure mounted gate -booster chair -play yard and sheets -baby eating utensils Neither the front nor back yard is fenced so young children must be supervised at all times when outside. Guest access Guests may use the entire house; the garage is not available for guests. Other things to note Bookers new to Airbnb (less than two positive reviews) must submit a photo of government identification after the confirmation of the reservation. Bookers under 25 years of age or with less than two positive reviews from any other Airbnb hosts may be rejected. Fireplace users will need to procure their own procure dry seasoned firewood, tinder and kindling. Kayakers must sign a liability waiver prior to kayaking. Dog owners may bring one potty trained dog up to 50 pounds only upon approval by host. See pet related rules in the Additional Rules section of the House Rules. Parties and unregistered guests/pets are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours must be followed between 9pm to 9am to honor the quiet neighbors.
