Soleil is a beautiful one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a restored building , with a balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It a has one bedroom with Queen size bed , en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. The living room with wooden floors has a compact kitchen area. The apartment has a good internet connection with WIFI, flat screen with Cable TV, washing machine, hair blower, iron and a safe. Just in the back of the premises, there is a private beach area with a tidal pool. The space To enter the apartment, you take the wooden stairs to the first floor, coming out on the balcony with its stunning sea view. You enter the spacious living room through glass folding doors, which you can fold over the whole opening, joining the living space with the balcony. The compact kitchen but well equipped with a fridge, electric stovetop, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, kettle and any other utensils you might need to prepare your own meals. The living area has a wooden dining table with four chairs. Some furniture, made of old wooden beams and floor planks from the original houses, stands out, keeping some of its histories. From the living room, you enter the bedroom with air-conditioning. The bathroom has a warm water shower. When stepping outside on the balcony, you can feel the soothing Caribbean breeze all day long. The terrace has a sitting area for your morning tea or coffee and for nice sunsets with a glass of wine. On the balcony are two deck chairs. You do not have to go far to enjoy the underwater life because there is some excellent snorkeling or diving possible just in front of your doorstep. Guest access Via the communal gated front entrance, you can access the apartment. The apartment has its own entry door. The only shared space is the beach area with the tidal pool for our guests. Other things to note Electricity For electricity we have a Prepaid System named 'Pagatinu" ( means be aware). With this system we try to contribute to a better world. Upon your arrival we upload an amount that will be enough for the first two days. We will give you instructions on arrival and information where to buy and how to top up your electricity. When the electricity (smart) meter starts beeping it tells you that you have to buy more electricity. Use of electricity is 10-15 KW/day using the AC mostly by night. Cost is variable but for US$ 10 you’ll get approximately 24KW. To pay for the electricity you'll need a debit card or cash.
