Deshka Landing Charters & Lodge is a 90 minute drive northwest of Anchorage. We are off the beaten path surrounded by the beauty and wildlife of Alaska. A good hub while you explore Central Alaska including: Denali National Park, Matanuska Glacier, Talkeetna and Hatcher Pass. The Coho dry cabin has a mini-fridge, microwave, heater and electricity. All bathrooms/showers are located in the main lodge. Nightly rental of this cabin includes a continental breakfast. Find out more below. The space We are an affordable and comfortable way to enjoy Alaska. Airbnb guests have shared use of the lodge amenities including: Direct TV/fireplace lounge area, WiFi, private bathrooms/showers, firepits, puzzles, games and a sharing library of books. Traveling with little ones? They will certainly enjoy our playhouse with a slide. Children and adults will have fun with our variety of lawn games. There is also a grill and several picnic tables for outdoor dining. Each of our five rental cabins is within 10-20 yards of the main lodge. The lodge bathrooms are supplied with towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, body wash and hair dryers. For guest staying in one of our four dry cabins, a continental breakfast is included with their nightly rental. Breakfast is self-service 7:00-9:00am daily and includes: bagels, toast, hot & cold cereals, yogurt, coffee, milk, juice, and tea. Guest access Guests will have keypad access to their own private, dry cabin. They will also be able to share in the enjoyment all the amenities of the Main Lodge including: Direct TV/fireplace lounge area, WiFi, private bathrooms/showers, puzzles, books, and a sharing library of books. Because most of our guests have come to Alaska to enjoy the out-of-doors, all of our guests are able to share the outdoor amenities of the property including: lawn games, fire pits, grill and picnic areas. We have five separate rental cabins on the property each with different sleeping arrangements ranging from two to eight guests. To reach the lodge, guests will need to retrieve a key from a lockbox and open a gate. The lodge is only a few hundred yards from the gate. We'll send details with check-in info. *Although we welcome families of all ages - please keep in mind our property is not child proofed. Children must always be monitored . *We have a dog that roams the property freely. *We have INCLUDED the 5% Matanuska Susitna Borough Bed Tax in our rate. You WILL NOT be asked to pay any additional tax after booking. * Please take into consideration our check-in/departure times when booking your stay. Our check in time is 3pm and checkout is 11am. We will do our very best to accommodate early arrivals and late checkout times upon request but please note it is never a guarantee and will be subject to change. Pending availability, we do honor an hour grace period at checkout until 12pm at no additional charge. Should you wish to extend your check out time past 12pm, you have the option for a $50 half day rate up until 8pm the evening of your checkout OR $15 per hour after 12pm. The same goes for an early arrival (again, pending availability).
