Nestled among the oaks, with views of the valley and hills just 28 minutes from Kings Canyon NP, our campsite features a superb Tuft-and-Needle bed, outdoor kitchen, anti-gravity chairs, evaporative cooler for those hot summer nights, deluxe shower and beautiful views. Smell the aroma of natural cedar and enjoy a view of the stars as you use our roofless shower. BBQ something special after a day in the park, listen to the birds, and relax! The space Your luxury campsite is located on a 9-acre rural property just 28 minute from Kings Canyon National Park, Your tent bedroom features a queen bed with Tuft-and-Needle mattress. You also have bedside tables, lights, chargers, drawers and hangers, and all linens. Your shower is a custom-built cedar surround, open to the sky. In a second room you will find your sink, with mirror and hairdryer, and flush toilet. No so called "vault toilet" (nice name for a porta-potty) for this campsite! Our outside kitchen is fully equipped with stove, sink, BBQ, fridge and everything you would need. The patio has a small dining table and 2 anti-gravity chairs so you can put your feet up at the end of the day, There is a half-mile loop trail around the property and you can visit the sheep, ducks and dogs. Throw your food and drink in a cooler and come enjoy the great outdoors! Here are some short videos from various hikes in the parks. We have provided a cooler, beach umbrella and beach chairs for your use at the beach at Hume Lake, or anywhere else. If you want swim (recommended in summer) please bring your own beach towels. This is an area of tremendous fire hazard. Please use maximum caution. we have allowed guests to smoke outside in the past, but cigarette buts must be carefully extinguished and placed in the metal trash can.
