A Cozy Stay in Midtown Memphis

Enjoy your time in Memphis like a Midtown-local in half of an adorable Victorian duplex. It's a comfy & quiet place to rest and close to so much! Our home is in a safe, friendly, neighborhood in the heart of the city. Harbert House is situated within walking distance to shops and food in Cooper Young + Overton Square, 2 miles from the Memphis Zoo and Overton park, & 3 miles from downtown. Harbert House was built in 1912 and has historic charm. The space Harbert House is a Victorian duplex that features a shotgun-style half of the house - where you'll be staying! You'll enter into the bedroom which has a queen bed, room-darkening curtains and a tv. The cozy living room is furnished with a couch, comfy chairs + tv. The bathroom is off the living room. In the back of the apartment there is a full kitchen with a dining table for two. The back door off the kitchen allows access to the back yard, especially important if you're bringing along a furry friend who needs to stretch their four legs after traveling! We also have a front porch you can enjoy - perfect for having a slow, peaceful coffee in the morning. Guest access Harbert House is a duplex - the half of the house you're staying in is all yours - nothing is common space inside. You have a bedroom, living room, full bath & full kitchen. The front porch + backyard are common spaces. We're sometimes in the back gardening, playing with our dogs, Pepper & Tayto, napping in the hammock or having a fire in the fire pit. We absolutely welcome you and your pets in the back yard! Occasionally the gate will be locked if Pepper & Tayto are veging out in the yard on their own. The basement with laundry is accessible via the backyard and is "all yours" in that we don't use it for anything but storage. The driveway is reserved for our vehicles, but there is plenty of free, on-street parking on both sides of Harbert Ave. in front of the house. Other things to note We have been hosting for two years and enjoy providing our guests with a comfortable, hassle-free stay! All are welcome at Harbert House! Cooper-Young is a particularly LGBTQIA2+-friendly area of Memphis; we and our neighbors embrace guests from all backgrounds.
