Authentic mountain chalet at 1566m altitude with rustic charm and breathtaking views of the majestic Dents du Midi. It has a terrace in the middle of pastures and hiking trails. Electricity is provided by a solar panel for lighting only. Wood and gas cooker, running water, full set of crockery. Bathroom with WC and washbasin, no hot water or shower. Fireplace for heating. Access is via a 600m unpaved road. The space The chalet is located 25-30 minutes from Lavey-les-Bains on a winding mountain road. In the winter, a 4x4 car is recommended. The last 1 km of the road is inaccessible by car as it becomes a ski slope. Bedding is not provided. There are pillows and a couple wool blankets however it is recommended to bring sleeping bags and sheets. The cleaning is to be done by the guests: sweeping of each room, cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom, and cleaning of the dishes and putting them away. Emptying of the garbage and mopping the floors, if necessary. The chalet is located near a military base. During the weekdays, on some days, you may hear gunshots. Guest access The entire accommodation is available as well as all its surroundings including the terrace, the charcoal barbecue, and two parking spaces (in summer). Other things to note The cleaning is to be done by the guests. There is no fridge or shower.
