Welcome to Aqua Blue, the perfect getaway in sunny Fort Myers, tucked away in a hidden neighborhood. This coastal-styled home was just completely remodeled, offering a stylish, updated, and serene environment with plenty of common space for gathering with friends & family. The backyard is a true oasis offering an expansive patio, pool with screened lanai, a tropical cabana, cozy white lights, a fire pit and outdoor patio, & seating for your entire group to spend time relaxing and dining outside. The space You begin your private Florida getaway by entering into this hidden neighborhood lined with a beautiful canopy of trees, reminiscent of a southern estate. The neighborhood is private with large lots offering our guests an experience few local rental homes can offer in more crowded neighborhoods and complexes. Entering the home, you are greeted with an expansive family room and kitchen area styled in an airy coastal vibe. The kitchen table is large enough to seat your entire group while additional seating is available at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for your culinary activities. Love coffee or tea? So do we! Your coffee and tea preparation needs will be met and exceeded with an electric tea kettle, Keurig, drip brew coffee maker with grinder, and a Nespresso machine and brother. Enjoy the view from the window lined kitchen out to the beautiful pool lanai. The sliding glass windows offer the perfect handout opportunity for food and beverages to those enjoying life poolside. The home offers three bedrooms for your sleeping arrangements. The master has a king bed and offers a serene escape with a cozy reading corner and sliding door onto the pool patio. The second bedroom offers a beach inspired bedroom with a queen bed. The third bedroom is the bunk room that offers an oversized bunk with a twin XL top bunk and a queen lower bed along with a twin trundle. Even adults will find comfort and space in this queen lower bed. Bedding for the twin trundle and extra pillows can be found in the bunk room closet. Still need more space? The sofa turns into a queen sized sofa bed with the bedding kit tucked inside the media cabinet. Whether you are a group of 2 or 10, this home will offer a pleasant and relaxing getaway. The pool area really shines on this property with sun loungers, a dining cabana, a shade cabana, swivel rockers, a propane firepit for easy use, Adirondack chairs, gas grill, dartboard and yard for play. The garage was just converted to a workout and gameroom space (it is air conditioned by the remote control on the wall) While relaxing on vacation, some guests find that sticking to their workout routine is what helps them relax. You don't have to give up your fitness just because you are on vacation. The home is equipped with a Peloton, rowing machine, weights/weight bench and exercise mats. There is fun to be had in the garage game room with football, air hockey and fan favorite, the real Pac-Man machine (set to not require coins) with over 60 extra games. Still want more to do...we have PICKLEBALL! The driveway is big enough to accommodate full and half court play. The half court net fits in the garage, but extensions can be added for full court play (also found in the garage). The garage is also where you will find all the supplies for a perfect beach day. Guest access Guests will receive access to the home through an electronic door lock on the front door. The code will be set to the last four digits of the phone number provided at booking. Other things to note With you in mind, we have attempted to anticipate your needs and think of what might help make your visit effortless and relaxing. Whether it is fitting in a workout, shelling on Sanibel Island, headed to the park for a picnic, watching the sunset from the beach, playing a pickleball match, we have filled this home with items to accommodate these vacation moments and experiences. We enjoy the peace of a mind that a fully equipped home offers and hope you feel the same while staying here. Because each group's towel needs can differ, we put all the towels for you to grab as needed from the hall closet by the laundry room. The laundry room is also equipped with a first aid kit, rack for hanging clothes and suits, and extra cleaning supplies in case of an accidental mess. We truly we believe Aqua Blue has one of the most convenient and wonderful locations in all of Fort Myers. It is on the west side of 41, which is the "beach side" of Fort Myers. Just about every store you can imagine is within a few miles of the home. We are right by (in our opinion) the best park in the city (Lakes Park) and the best mini-golf we have ever been experienced (Castle Golf). We are centrally located for beach days at Sanibel Island, Fort Myers Beach, Bunch Beach (closet and we refer to as the rustic beach), and even North Naples beaches aren't far away. If you are baseball fans, 7 minutes gets you to the Twins Spring Training facility and 20 minutes gets you to the Red Sox Spring Training facility. We even have rainy days covered with nearby outlet malls, movie theaters, Ford and Edison Estates, jump places, and more. Your restaurant options are extensive with our convenient location and we even love hoping over the bridge to nearby Cape Coral downtown for some great local restaurants. You will even find great shopping in nearby malls and outlet malls. For more outdoor adventures, the nearby parks are fantastic for walking trails, nature exploration, wildlife sighting, and more. You can practically walk to nearby Lakes Park. It is a gem including gardens, a ride on train and train museum, farmers markets (Wednesdays), swan pedal boats, playgrounds, walking trails, fishing and beautiful scenery. Getting to the home is a breeze from the nearby RSW airport. You can be enjoying the home 20-25 minutes after leaving the airport. We love all our travelers and believe this home is perfect for just about anyone looking for a Fort Myers trip. Whether it is a retiree escape, a girls or guys getaway, a family vacation, or a couples getaway, Aqua Blue will be a wonderful spot for every type of traveler. If you like to party though, this isn't the spot for you. We also understand traveling with young kids isn't always easy so we wanted to help with that by offering a high chair, pack n play and bedding, and kids cups, dishes, and utensils. We believe in equipping our guests with information to have an informed stay. Most of that information is provided in the listing. There are also additional house specific details that are communicated through our rental agreement. Rental agreements will be sent electronically to our guests and include house information and guidelines, a guest information sheet, and a request for a copy of their ID.
