This three bedroom, two bathroom cabin is perfect for family vacations, a couples retreat, outings for a group of friends or any combination of the above! Our house is conveniently located only 24 miles away from the El Portal entrance to Yosemite Valley through the Merced River route-highway 140, perfect for a day trip. Just like Yosemite National Park, we are pet friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friend along for the trip. The only area not accessible is the garage, but there is plenty of parking on the driveway for multiple care (3+ cars). You can park your car in the front of the garages. The house is located on a quiet private area and there is plenty of parking space for three cars. Please do not park your car on the side of the Colorado Road. Other things to note Whether you're looking for a challenging hike to somewhere like Glacier point (4 mile trail) or you are just looking for a nice relaxing day spent next to the river or any of the various picnic locations across the park, our cabin is located close enough to the park that every option is viable without having to trade off the comfort of a furnished home at the end of the day. If however, you are exhausted from yesterday's trip to Yosemite, you could just as easily spend a few hours in the small historical town of Mariposa. Located only 8 miles away from our cabin, Mariposa offers a wide range of various attractions from the antique shops, restaurants and diners, wine tasting (Casto Oaks Winery), museums (Mariposa History Museum), olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting (Costa Livos), a supermarket to restock for the next day trip to the surrounding areas, and much more!
