Welcome to the idyllic village of Brienzwiler! We are happy to present our completely newly renovated loft apartment. It offers you everything you need for a relaxing stay. We wish you an unforgettable stay! The space The 3 ½-room apartment has two sleeping areas spread over two floors, an area with a kitchen, dining and living room and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen has a hot air/microwave oven, a 4-burner induction stove, a large refrigerator and a dishwasher. Pans, pots, sufficient dishes and a Nespresso coffee machine incl. coffee capsules are available, as well as spices, oil, pasta and the essentials for cooking. Raclette oven and cheese fondue caquelon are also available for use. The apartment includes storage rooms and a cellar where bicycles, skis, sleds, etc. can be stored. There is a reserved free parking space 3 minutes from the house. The historic former farmhouse, built in 1768, was completely renovated in 2023. From the outside, the house still corresponds to the typical Bernese Oberland style, but inside the bathroom, kitchen, walls, floors, heating, etc. are state-of-the-art. The visitor's tax for the village of Brienzwiler is CHF 2.00 per adult per night, for children CHF 1.00 per night and must be paid on site. Guest access Guests will be welcomed by our guest hostess. She will inform you about the apartment, the surrounding area and the excursion destinations. She is also available for further information, tips and advice. There is also a combination lock in the entrance area with the name of the apartment. Other things to note The Bernese Oberland is right in front of you: the idyllic Brienz on Lake Brienz with the Brienz-Rothorn train can be reached in 5 minutes by car. You can reach the Axalp for skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, hiking, walking, etc. in 20 minutes by car. The Axalp is especially ideal for ski holidays with children. The popular ski and hiking area Brünig-Hasliberg, with over 60 kilometers of slopes in winter, is just around the corner. It takes about 10 minutes by car to Meiringen with the adventurous Aare Gorge. Interlaken, the starting point for the Bernese Oberland mountain world with Schynige Platte, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Adelboden etc. and the entire Jungfrau area, is a 25-minute drive away. All sights are also easily accessible from Brienzwiler by PostBus and/or train. In Brienzwiler, a 5-minute walk from the house, is the Ballenberg open-air museum. Countless hiking trails for all levels of difficulty are also right at your feet. The Jakobsweg leads through the middle of the village. With the guest card, you get discounts for many railways and museums. Shopping is possible in "Annas Dorfladen," 200 meters from the house. Here you can find everything, so to speak, including cheese for raclette or fondue.
