Other things to note From October 1, 2025, the city of Heidelberg will charge a city tax of €3.50 per person per night. Children and adolescents under the age of 16 are exempt. The tax applies to a maximum of five consecutive nights per stay – from the sixth night it is waived. We are required by law to collect the tax on behalf of the city.
