Description
Comfortable, 3 story, 5 bedroom, 2 full bath, arts loving home in the NE Minneapolis Arts district. Audubon Park is a neighborhood near many restaurants, 2 parks with playgrounds, grocery stores, restaurants, and a Buddhist Monastery. Stay in a neighborhood close to downtown to get the best of both worlds! Easy 10-12 minute drive/ride share to Downtown which includes: US Bank Stadium, Target Center, Target Field, First Avenue, 7th St Entry, and Minneapolis Convention Center. The space This 2.5 story home was built in 1913 and is nestled in the middle of a quiet block on a quiet street with great neighbors. It is north of Lowry Ave NE, east of Central Ave NE and south of Johnson St NE. It was most recently updated in 2023 with new heating, electrical, and plumbing. This home is located within walking distance of a great selections of bars, restaurants and shops. Walk to the Eastside Food Coop/Deli/coffeeshop (4 blocks), Holy Land Middle Eastern Restaurant and grocery store (4 blocks), Zero Proof non alcoholic beverage shop (4 blocks), Dutch Bar (4 blocks), El Taco Riendo Restaurant (5 blocks), Fair State Brewery (5 blocks), Football Pizza, and Afghan owned pizza shop (6 blocks), Hazel’s NE (6 blocks), Coffeshop NE (6 blocks), knit and Bolt Yarn Store (6 blocks), A Bag Lady Vintage (6 blocks), Audubon Park playground (4 blocks), Windom Park playground (7 blocks). Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, pyrex baking dishes, crockpot, electric hand mixer, and many mixing bowls, serving bowls, measuring cups, knives, cutting boards, plates, electric kettle, french press, toaster, microwave, mugs, cups, fancy glasses and normal glasses. The first floor consists of a living room, dining area, kitchen, half bath with bidet attachment on toilet. The dining table seats 6 and has an insert that you can find in the basement that can add 2 more spots to seat 8. There are additionally 4 counter stools for the kitchen counter. The second floor has three bedrooms (2 queens beds and 2 singles beds), a full bath with tub/shower combo, and toilet has bidet attachment, and a reading book. The beds are all memory foam platform beds. There are extra blankets in all of the bedroom closets. I worry about people being too cold. If you are a "cold baby" like me and need more blankets, let me know! The third floor has two bedrooms (1 queen bed and 1 single bed), a full bath with tub/shower combo, and toilet has bidet attachment. Outside there is a deck with 2 couches and a yard to enjoy good weather. The yard is not fenced in. There is a washer/dryer in the unfinished basement. Each floor has a laundry shoot that empties out to a bin in the basement. The garage is currently not part of the rental because it is full of junk but I hope to have it available soon. Guest access This listing is for the whole house except for the garage. You may also use the yard! I have to say this because I got a bad review for the basement not being a nice space to hang out: the basement is for laundry only and not a space to hang out. Other things to note The house is over 100 years old and has some of the “charm” of an old house like the windows might not open perfectly if the weather is too damp or the doors might swell a bit after a rain and need to be pushed harder to open. Some of the trim and cabinets are original condition and not perfectly finished and may look old or worn in some spots. Scent sensitive people: Sometimes we use scented method cleaning products and scented Tide detergent. Allergy people: I allow people to book with their pets and previous occupants have had dogs and cats. Registration Details LIC-415765
