The space Tower Floor: “Suspiro del Moro” Dreamy suite with a private terrace and views over all of Granada. It features a living-dining-kitchen area, bedroom, and bathroom, newly renovated with top-quality finishes. Commonly known as the “Suspiro del Moro,” this is the spot where Boabdil, Muslim king of the Nasrid dynasty, paused to take one last look at Granada and the Alhambra after being exiled by the Catholic Monarchs. Overwhelmed by its beauty, he sighed and wept. His own mother, Sultan Aixa al-Horra, reportedly said: “Weep like a woman for what you could not defend as a man.” Ground Floor: “Mirador de la Alfaguara” The largest floor with living-dining-kitchen space and direct access to a large terrace, perfect for meals and conversations with family. It also has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the main access points to the Sierra de la Alfaguara is the town of Alfacar, historically a leisure spot for the Zirid monarchs and well-known during the Andalusian-Arab period for its potters’ and bakers’ ovens, a tradition that still endures today. Semi-Basement Floor: “Fuente de Aynadamar” Enjoy spectacular design and quality with a spacious living-dining-kitchen area, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The water flows from the Sierra de la Alfaguara to the Albaicín and the Alhambra through a hydraulic infrastructure built between 1013 and 1090, known as the Aynadamar Canal—meaning “Canal of Tears.” Near its source at the Fuente Grande, water emerges in small bubbles reminiscent of tears, perhaps mourning the death of a poet. Each floor is fully independent and can be accessed both internally and externally if desired. Guest access The pool is only available from June to September. Other things to note Note: In the autumn-winter season, complimentary firewood is offered already prepared in the fireplace. If more is needed, an additional charge can be purchased for €25. It will be mandatory to provide the National Identity Document or Passport for registration with the Spanish National Police of all guests. It will be requested only for confirmed reservations, a few days before arrival through a link.
