Hilltop 360° ocean to mountain view, pool, spa, orchard, lush gardens Sanctuary
Description
Welcome to The Sanctuary perched on top of Fallbrook and Oceanside. Our unique location offers stunning panoramic 360° views from ocean to mountains at your private guest house. You’ll have full access to beautiful common areas on the 2.5 acre property including gardens alive with hummingbirds, fruit trees, orchard, pool, spa and sunset deck all with epic views. You’re welcome to walk the property, relax poolside, enjoy the massive deck for sunset above the rest and hit the spa for star gazing The space This 600sf private unit has its own, private entry to the front and back so you can freely come and go as you please. One wall is shared with the main house, where Dino (the dog) and Ian live, you might hear Dino once or twice as he grumbles at passing coyotes but that should be it. The wall is double thick and double insulated so our sounds stay on our sides of the wall. You’ll have your own outdoor space and sitting area with beautiful southeast-west views of Camp Pendleton’s open costal hills, the ocean horizon, and all the way to the Cleveland National Forest. Another sitting area on the north side too with a large patio, table, chairs and once again amazing views!! Your home consists of a large open floor plan, bedroom with a queen-sized bed and sitting area that can be separated from the dining area and kitchen with a privacy curtain. There is a walk-in closet that is big enough to accommodate the queen-size blow-up mattress if more sleeping surface is needed. Enjoy the custom art on the walls painted by my father and expansive views through the bay windows or cuddle up to your favorite show on the wall-hung TV. The dining nook has a built-in bench seat, two chairs, and a custom-repurposed ship hatch table. The kitchen has a mint green Smeg fridge, two-burner electric cooktop, sink, microwave, toaster oven, and all basic TJ’s spices, utensils and cooking equipment one should need. The bathroom has a well-lit mirror, storage with a hair dryer, extra necessities, a rain/handheld combo shower, and a new wash tower laundry unit for your comfort. The property beyond your personal space is 2.5 acres of pathways, an amazing pool, a large 1,200sf deck with incredible unobstructed views, and many other little areas to explore and enjoy. These are all common spaces where you may come across others. Enjoy, say hi, and be respectful, we for sure will be. Guest access Guests are welcome to access all external spaces of the property. Pool, spa, deck, pathways, go explore! Welcome to pop into the cute white garden house at the top of the hill to see what’s going on in there. Please do not venture into other dwellings as we do live here and would like you to respect their privacy just like we will respect yours. There are some nice walks around the area and some fun little secrets spots we’ll be happy to share with you. Try the deck down by the ambulance for a coffee in the morning! It’s my favorite! Other things to note There is a pool shower on the back side of the pool house that you’re welcome to use. The spa can be turned on by request, and you may have other guests join you in the spa, it is a communal area. You’re welcome to use the pool. If you have children, please keep them away from the pool area when unsupervised. Oranges, apples, and other bountiful crops are free for guests to consume on-site. Please don’t pick avocados as they take about a week off the tree to ripen. I will do my best to leave a few ripe avocados in the house before check-in when they are in season. Little flowers and succulents that you see all around can be picked and enjoyed, but if you see only a few of something, please leave it be. The area: We are a beautiful, short drive to downtown Fallbrook, where you'll find quaint shops, grocery stores, and delicious restaurants. Beach House Winery is just one mile away, where you can spend a weekend afternoon wine tasting and listening to live music. Headed to the beach? We're just a 25-minute drive to the Oceanside Pier. Hiking trails, golf courses, farm tours, several wineries, and so more surround this stunning area we call home.
