Less than a mile away are stunning natural swimming waterfalls—ideal for a refreshing dip after a hike. The beach is only 20 minutes away, and along the way you’ll find dozens of restaurants, zip-lining adventures, and outdoor activities to suit every interest. Modern Comforts, Even Off-Grid While power, internet, and water outages can occasionally occur in Puerto Rico, the villa is thoughtfully equipped with reliable backup systems to ensure a seamless stay. These include Starlink satellite internet, solar panels with battery storage, and backup water—so you can relax, unplug, or stay connected with confidence. Your Private Escape Enjoy your own spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath unit featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a private terrace overlooking the lush landscape. Space, Serenity & Privacy You’ll have complete privacy within your villa and exclusive use of your private terrace. The property spans over 9 acres, offering ample space to relax and explore. The gardens, pool, and outdoor areas are shared (I live on the property, and there is one additional guest house), allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the grounds while still maintaining your personal space. What You’ll Have Access To – Private 3-bedroom / 3-bath unit – Shared pool – 4 acres of landscaped gardens – 5 acres of wild rainforest Interaction with Guests Your comfort and privacy are important. While I live in a separate unit on the property, I’m happy to be as hands-on or hands-off as you prefer. I’m always available if you need anything and love sharing local recommendations—from hiking trails and waterfalls to restaurants and hidden gems in and around El Yunque. If you prefer quiet solitude, you’re welcome to enjoy the property at your own pace—no interaction required unless you choose. Important Notes – We are currently enhancing the property, including the renovation of an old tractor room into a studio apartment. All demolition is complete [ie the loud part]; but you may occasionally see Carlos, our handyman, working quietly in the back of the property on tasks such as tiling or painting through mid-March. – There is one very sweet outdoor cat who likes to spend time on my patio. If you have allergies, please let me know at the time of booking and we can have her stay in my enclosed catio during your visit. Come for the views, stay for the serenity.
