The Loft
Cozy cabin vibes in the high desert with 360 views. Next to Grand Canyon West!
Description
No-fuss booking and entry! A snug 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home with a full kitchen. Step outside onto a wrap-around deck and a private back yard. The home is a 30 min drive to the Grand Canyon West entrance and less than 20 min from Lake Mead’s South Cove or Arizona's Joshua Tree Forest. Miles of ATV trails are close too! Perfect for a day trip to Las Vegas or Lake Havasu. Close to a Family Dollar and local restaurants. Come enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets in a peaceful, private home. The space The home has a small floorplan, but the high ceilings make it feel much larger. The loft is a unique flex entertainment and sleeping space that adds a little adventure. It features a futon that folds out into a Queen-sized bed, a bean bag chair, and a projector for a cool movie or TV experience. Outdoors, the private backyard space and the walking trail on the property are just unbeatable. You have 360 degree views of the outdoors that are stunning no matter how many times you see them, especially during sunrise or sunset. For us, the home has been a great place to disconnect with technology and reconnect with each other and nature. We hope it can do that for others! Guest access The entire house is yours to enjoy (except the second bathroom). Other things to note Friendly reminders: This home is in the high desert so it can get quite hot during the day and still be cold at night. Pay special attention to the temperatures during the winter and summer and bring the appropriate apparel, especially since this home is mainly heated and cooled with wall units. In the winter months it routinely gets below 50°F. The wall units in the bedrooms can be set to heat. There's a separate electric heater by the front door. On top of that, there is a pellet stove in the home that we try to make sure the hopper is full before each guest. If you want to keep *extra* toasty during winter, you may want to purchase extra pellets. You likely only need to consider it if temperatures are below freezing. 1 bag of pellets generally heats the home at about 70°F for 8 hours. They're commonly found at home improvement stores or Tractor Supply. You can manage the temperature the stove keeps the home at by adjusting the thermostat next to it. There are desert critters around, some of which you may want to avoid like snakes and scorpions so watch your step! Arizona TPT license number: 21607840
