Cottage in the middle of sculpture garden

Cozy cottage with private terrace, adjacent to sculpture garden. You will stay in your own vacation cottage, quietly located within walking distance of the nature reserve Driegoten and den Bunt. Ideal for people who like to enjoy the tranquility of nature, but still want a minimum of comfort. The space You enter a spacious living room of about 27 m2. Here you have a kitchen with induction fire, refrigerator with separate freezer compartment, Senseo machine and kettle. There are plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery. I provide kitchen towels, a dish sponge and dish soap. There is also oil, pepper and salt, some Senseo pads and tea bags. There is a dining table with 4 chairs, and a suitcase with board games. Adjacent to this room is the bathroom, which has a shower, sink and toilet. There are bath towels, a hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel. Via an (attic) staircase, you go to the sleeping area. Here is also a small sitting area with a fantastic view over the garden. The bed is made of pallets, and there is a comfortable mattress of 180x200 cm on it. The 2 roof windows have blackout roller blinds, the double window has blinds. Outside, you have your own garden table and chairs, on a large private terrace of about 40 m2. You can park your car in the driveway. The gate closes at night. You will receive a remote control for the gate. In the vicinity of the accommodation, there are several taverns and restaurants, close to the Schelde. You can also enjoy our sculpture garden. Surrounded by nature, it is wonderful to stay in the silence. Your private terrace has sun most of the day. You can also take one of the chairs into the large garden and enjoy the tranquility and the sculptures there. In the evening and at night, it is very quiet here. Apart from the sounds of birds, you won't hear much. With a bit of luck, you'll also see the wild deer pass by in the morning or evening. Guest access Wereldbeeld vacation home is located between Dendermonde and Sint-Niklaas, right on the Driegoten nature reserve. By car: Hamme is about 6 kilometers from exit no. 14 on the E17 Antwerp-Ghent highway. This means that the smaller cities such as Dendermonde and Sint-Niklaas are quickly accessible; Ghent and Antwerp are half an hour's drive away. By public transportion: Dendermonde or Sint-Niklaas station; from there, take the bus (including no. 92), and get off at Tweebruggenplein. From here it is 2 kilometers (by appointment and depending on availability, I can pick you up at the bus). Other things to note As indicated, it is a vacation home in the middle of a sculpture garden. This garden is freely accessible to the public, every Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., from the Easter holidays until the end of September. Your vacation home and terrace are private, visitors to the garden do not enter your area.
