The space The welcoming apartment consists of an open plan living area with full kitchen (complete with Nespresso machine) and double sofa bed, a double bedroom, bathroom with shower and washing machine, and an enviable balcony from which you can have breakfast or drink an aperitif while enjoying the splendid views of the lake. The offering is completed with a shared outdoor pool open in the summer months (from mid May to late September *dates subject to change), and private garage (as well as additional first come first served communal parking spots). The apartment complex is located in Perledo on the Varenna hillside, directly on the famous ‘Sentiero del Viandante’ hiking trail, and ideally situated just a 5 minute drive away from the popular central lake resort of Varenna (from which a frequent ferry service operates connecting you to the famous 'golden triangle' towns of Lake Como). Given the apartment's location in Perledo, the use of a car is recommended. Note that there is a c. 20min pedestrianised walk to and from Varenna which is relatively steep - which is what gives us incredible views! But it does mean the property may not be suitable for all guests. Buses and Taxi services are available from Varenna, as well as a public first come first served parking house in central Varenna. The apartment is equipped with Wi-fi, Smart TV, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, washing machine, air conditioning and heating etc. Additionally, for your added comfort and ease, we have provided an Alexa voice-commanded speaker device in the living room (complete with Bluetooth compatibility to listen to your music). Other things to note Pre-communication of the arrival time is required as there is no reception and a person will come to meet you. Late check-out: It is possible to delay the exit upon request at least 1 day before check out.
