The space You will love this place first because everything in your room has been carefully chosen to be of the best quality and comfort. I like only 100% cotton sheets, duck feathers duvets (that are warm enough for Quito but not as heavy as wood covers), high quality towels. Everything is white, clear and clean. The room has plenty of sunlight at all the times of the day and still I have put a double system of curtains so you will not be seen from the outside if you want to let the light come in and you can close the blackout curtains if you want a long sleep even late in the morning. High speed internet wifi included.You will love to share very large social spaces as the kitchen, the living room and the dinning room with only two more people who are generally between 25 and 40 years old. The kitchen fully equipped will make you feel as if you where at home making your favorite dishes. The fireplace in Quito is very needed (since it can be cold during the night) and great for sharing a nice evening with friends. Cleaning once a weak included. Finally, you will love the atmosphere in the whole building. There are other two apartments with the same modality so it is around 9 people sharing and supporting each other in the building. My experience is that you all make good friendships and share other expenses and tasks (like traveling together or going out). Great for couples and travelers of long and short time stay. Guest access You can access within the apartment the fully equipped kitchen, the living room with fireplace and the dinning room. In the building you can access a grocery shop and private parking lots located in the ground floor and the terrace acted in the top of the building which has a BBQ place, hammocks, a small kitchen and washing and drying machines with space to hang the cloths also and beautiful plants. During your stay Yes I can be helpful and contacted in case of medical emergency and if you need information about the city and the country. I know a lot about places to travel and about where you can find cheap and nice food, hosting and amusement. Also I know a lot about the organic and economics of solidarity sector in Ecuador. Other things to note Check in date is very flexible. We can host you almost at any arrival time provided that you give me enough time in advance to organize the check in. However, please consider that arrivals between 9h00 and 18h00 are for free but there is a late fee of 5$ for arrivals later that 18h00 and prior to 9h00. This fee can be waved if you take our transport service from the airport for 25$. Departure time is 13h00 but you can stay at the common areas of the apartment as long as you need after that time on your departure date. Also if you need to stay longer at the room you can ask for it. If we do not have guests arriving soon we will be happy to extend the check out time at no extra cost. Having the cleaning service included in the price once a week is very comfortable for preserving always a clean space and for good relationships with the other guests. Other services are offered: - Pick up form the airport to the appartment and viceversa at any time for 25$ (same as any taxi cab would charge) -You can also have for an extra fee access to a person that can wash and dry your cloths and even pass the iron if needed. - if you ask it at least five days in advance I can get you a SIM card with your name and passport to be ready at your room at your arrival. This service costs 25$ including the price of the card. - I offer a very complete and relaxing experience is Thai massage combined with herbal healing treatment coming from the Andes and Amazon indigenous tradition I have been learning for years with medicine women of all around. The massage last an average of two hours and costs 50$. Please ask for more information if you want to try it.
