The space A classic terraced home in Clapham on a quiet residential street—no high-rises, just a peaceful setting with a private sun-filled garden inspired by tropical travels. Tucked away, yet only minutes from the high street with its lively bars, award-winning restaurants, and the vibrant energy of Brixton nearby. Central London and the West End are easily reached in 15–25 minutes by tube or 30–45 minutes by bus. With parks, pubs, cafés, shops, and two cinemas close by, it’s a relaxed, well-connected base in a friendly family neighbourhood that feels calm, safe, and easy to live in. Guest access You have ⭐️ a private bedroom to yourself but are welcome to use the common areas ⭐️ the shared kitchen, ⭐️ the shared main living room if you want to watch the TV. 📺 ⭐️ the shared bathroom ⭐️ & the shared garden. 🪴 You do not have access to the cellar & the back living room or other bedrooms. During your stay I’m very happy to help guests with any information or local tips to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. I live and work in the house, so I’m usually around and available if needed. I work as a life coach, hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner, and I am happy to offer these sessions during your stay if that’s of interest. You’re welcome to join me for gentle fascia movement or meditation in the garden when I’m doing them or even join in with some art. I’m sociable and always open to a chat, but I also value quiet time myself—reading, working or watching TV in the evenings—so there’s a natural respect for privacy and space in the home. The kitchen is fully equipped and well set up for cooking, reflecting my background in the restaurant industry for many years and guests are very welcome to use it. Other things to note I’m gradually moving towards reducing chemicals and toxins in the home, favouring more eco-friendly alternatives where possible. All towels are 100% cotton, and bedding is either pure cotton or cotton-rich. Essential household items and cleaning products are provided, and a guest hairdryer is available if needed. The bathroom features a Hansgrohe Chroma Select S shower head with two settings—rain and intense rain—designed for a comfortable experience while also conserving water during hair washing. I’m happy to help with anything you might need during your stay, including sourcing additional items if required. There are no pets in the home, although there may occasionally be other guests as there are two Airbnb rooms. For longer stays, a cleaner can be arranged if needed, while shared areas such as the kitchen and bathroom are regularly maintained. A washing machine and dryer are available (guests provide their own detergent), along with a garden washing line. Guests are asked to leave shared spaces tidy after use, helping maintain a calm and pleasant environment for everyone. Breakages or damage are expected to be covered. Pottery and artwork are also available for purchase—please just ask if you’re interested. The room can accommodate two guests; please enquire when booking. The aim is simply to create a relaxed, respectful and comfortable home environment for everyone staying here.
