The space This house was built in the backyard of our family's main house, but with a separate entrance on the side. It is a house made for socializing and relaxation, with sofas, hammocks, tables and chairs in different environments. We have board games, magazines and books, including children's books. The structure and ambiance of the house values materials and objects from the Northeast: the floor has the freshness of burnt cement, also used in counters, the hammocks are woven in Tacaratu, a nearby city, the handicrafts are from masters of Garanhuns, among them, master Fida and master Veríssimo. The furniture is affective or handcrafted heirlooms made by cabinetmakers from Olinda and Garanhuns, the good drinking water that Garanhuns offers (land of Serra Branca mineral water) is refreshed by the clay filter. The house is full of kitchen utensils that we share with guests: dishes, glasses and cups, kitchen knives and different types of pots (clay, ceramic, stainless steel and iron). In the outdoor kitchen, we have a gas barbecue and all barbecue materials, as well as a semi-industrial stove and large pots for bean stews, boiled meats and other popular cuisine foods. The two bathrooms and two toilets offer the basics with simplicity and comfort, although they are small. And we have 2 sinks that serve as dressing tables with LED light (suitable for makeup) and a hair dryer outlet, a touch of vanity. On the walls, we dedicate some space to poetry and art, something that, in our view, is essential to living and socializing. Other things to note In this house, you will be in the best neighborhood for walking and leisure in Garanhuns, while, being in the backyard, you will have privacy and silence for your rest. Around the house, you have everything you need for your comfort. Surrounding the block you will find a market, a natural products store, a pharmacy, and taxi stands. If you don't want to cook, just walk to the corner, you'll find a café that offers home-cooked food for all three daily meals at a fair price and good quality. On the other corner, you will find the most famous handmade hamburger in the city, Baixinho. In the vicinity, there are also offices of various medical specialties, for emergencies, and a hospital, which unfortunately does not accept SUS, as it is private, but accepts several health plans. Within a 100-meter radius, you will find the best butcher shop in Garanhuns, which offers special cuts and everything for barbecue and meal preparation; you will also find a great supermarket and many restaurants, of different types and prices, good convenience stores.
