The space When you first step into this airy, modern cabin home, you'll feel peace and be swept away by the gorgeous long range mountain views! Great for couples or families. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need, even coffee and condiments. The living room has a comfy sofa and recliner and a huge gas fireplace complete with large screen TV. There are stunning views both from the main floor deck, which has a large-screen TV, gas fireplace, and propane grill, and from the private deck off the upstairs loft bedroom, which has another gas fireplace as well as the hot tub. There are also views from throughout the house via large windows and French doors to the main floor deck. Each bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a large flat screen TV. The downstairs bathroom features a large shower, and the upstairs bathroom has a traditional tub shower combo. The cabin is in a gated HOA community, but looks directly out on the national forest with unimpeded views that feel like they are yours alone! Guest access This is a whole house rental; every room and deck is there for you to enjoy. Please note that we do allow pets with approval (dogs only). Bringing an unauthorized/undisclosed pet may incur a fine. Other things to note The house is located just minutes away from the Nantahala National Forest with plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, and enjoying mountain life to the fullest. Just a little further is a lake for fishing and kayaking. The house is in Hideaway Hills, a gated community, back off the beaten path and ~25 minutes away from town. The route is largely paved with a very short stretch of gravel road that is easily driveable and does not require a 4 wheel drive to access. There is plenty of off-road parking; the cabin has its own driveway. Murphy has lots of fun things to do, including breweries, wineries, restaurants, shopping, and art. Harrah's Casino is right in town. Day trips to other fun areas in NC, TN, and GA are easy drives and make this the best location for exploring all the Tri State area has to offer!
