You can explore the magnificent Château de Chantilly or the ponds of Commelles, one of the most remarkable sites in the Chantilly forest! Unless you prefer to visit the cathedral in downtown Senlis! Wonderful area to explore. La Balinaise Independent room with garden and pool is located 20 minutes from Paris direct Gare du Nord. The accommodation is 5-7 minutes from the train station. In the room, mini fridge with drinks. Coffee and tea available. Kettle. Linens and towels are provided. Hairdryer. Iron and steamer on request. Pool towels not provided. (otherwise on request) The pool and pool terrace can be in rare cases (long stays) shared with the resident. The swimming pool is only available in season (May to September depending on the weather) The Jacuzzi is located outside and can be booked when temperatures are above 12°. A small fee is required and is to be paid on-site. It takes 24 hours to heat it up so it is advisable to plan ahead! The city of Orry-la-Ville is ideally located on the edge of Oise and Val d'Oise. The town is very nice and there are all the shops and very good restaurants. (possibility of delivery). You can drive a few minutes and visit the magnificent Château de Chantilly (horse capital) and its stables, which are unique in the world. You can also discover the ponds of Commelles located in a natural park and its castle of Queen Blanche, stroll through the many forests of the area. Discover "les petites landes" at the Butte aux Gens d'Armes if you like hiking. (many other hikes to do) Don't miss the city of Senlis and its magnificent cathedral, but you'll need to put on your tennis shoes to stroll through its old cobblestone streets. Many Abbeys are also to be discovered in the area. For amusement park lovers, Parc Astérix is nearby and you can spend an unforgettable day in one of the most popular parks in France unless you prefer the Mer de Sable in Ermenonville. Guest access The accommodation is independent and the table and chairs in front of your room will be for your exclusive use. For access, you will either be greeted in person or the keys will be left for you in the key box. you will receive the information on the day of your arrival or the day before. Easy access by road or train line D Borne Blanche Orry la Ville station or TER Hauts de France ORRY/Coye-la-Forêt station. Other things to note You will definitely come across cats during your stay. However, the room you are staying in is independent of the house and the cats never fit in. But the garden is free and cats sometimes pass by. If you want to bring your dog, this may be considered depending on your dog's breed and behavior! I love them! Upon arrival, several drinks will be available in your mini fridge. Feel free to order your favorite drinks! (Or for a special occasion if you want to have a particular bottle waiting for you when you arrive let me know via messaging, I will take care!) A bottle of water is available free of charge upon arrival. Tea, coffee, capuccino are at discretion. The Jacuzzi is accessible on request (excluding weather constraints) and booking and it is to be paid separately on site (€20 for the stay). You can ask before or on arrival ( when it's hot) otherwise plan the heating time. It's best to ask if it's possible to use it during your stay. Possibility to get you dropped off at Orry/Coye la forêt train station for the TER leading to Paris in 20 min. The other train station, meanwhile, is a 7-minute walk away and is omnibus to Paris. (line D) and 1 Chantilly station. Possibility, at certain periods (validate with your host) to request breakfast. The price is €10 to be paid on-site and it is deposited in front of your outbuilding door in the morning. It includes a hot drink, bread, butter and jam, pastries, juice, yogurt and fruit. It is imperative to request it before your arrival and confirm that it is feasible during your stay! You can smoke in the garden without any worries!
