All names are original and unchanged. La Porta Verde has a rich history, mostly one of love. Built by Ottavio in 1932, it was initially home to his daughters, Tosca and her sister, whom he left in Florence while moving to New York to find fortune (and he found it!). Later, the apartment became the cradle of love for Galliano and Tosca. Here is where Andrea was conceived and spent his childhood before moving with Monica just one block away. The sorrow of losing Galliano at a young age was only alleviated by the birth of Tosca’s two granddaughters, Ilaria and Valentina. Growing up just a block away, the girls would walk hand in hand to school around the corner, passing by Nonna Tosca’s window, where she would wave to them every morning. Countless afternoons after school, Sunday lunches, and sleepovers at La Porta Verde shaped the most loving childhood for the two girls. When Nonna Tosca passed away in 2010, the night before Ilaria’s University graduation, she left a huge void in everyone’s heart. Within its four walls, La Porta Verde holds the history of three generations: their hopes, secrets, dreams, sorrows, and unconditional love. Registration Details IT048017C27S8H9HCB
