The space A COZY HOME WITH AN ANCIENT CHARM Experience the magic of Lake Como in a cozy home, just 50 meters from the lake. Our central location allows you to easily explore Bellano, Varenna, Bellagio and the other wonders of the area. Just 400 meters away, you will find the train station that connects to Milan and the Alto Lago area. Bellano, the "Country of Artists", will envelop you with its relaxed and authentic atmosphere, a corner full of traditions where time seems to stop. Here, you can find peace and quiet after visiting the lake's busiest attractions... We are on the second and last floor of an old courtyard house: get ready to make some movement, the sleeping area is on the upper floor! 😉 On the ground floor, the entrance houses an equipped kitchen (dishwasher included), a dining area perfect for intimate dinners and a bright living room with Smart TV, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The BALCONY, with a view of the mountains, is a peaceful spot where you can enjoy a coffee or an aperitif while breathing in the fresh air from the lake (and sometimes even watching a soccer match between local kids ;-)). Climbing a steep wooden staircase (not suitable for young children or the elderly), you enter the SLEEPING AREA, a haven of tranquility with air conditioning, exposed beams, and natural wood floors that create a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Ideal for a refreshing rest, the sleeping area is a large OPEN SPACE attic with two areas: the one with a DOUBLE BED (with memory foam and topper mattress), and the one with two SINGLE BEDS. (If you are 2 couples looking for privacy, maybe this is not the ideal solution for you.. ;-) To refresh your clothes you will find a washing machine and an iron in the closet on the balcony, to always feel at home. In summer, you can hang laundry on the balcony (Italian style 😉), and in the other seasons, you can use the small clothesline in the storage room. Guest access If you arrive by CAR, you have 1 hour to unload your luggage in the parking lot in Piazza San Giorgio, the closest to the house. Then you can move it to the different parking lots nearby, some free, others for a fee (we can provide passes at discounted rates upon request). We want to make sure you have a comfortable and safe experience during your stay, so before booking, we inform you that our house is on the second floor with no elevator. To access the sleeping area you will need to climb a fairly steep staircase, which may be difficult for the elderly, people with mobility problems and young children. Other things to note Under current Italian law, we are required to ask for a passport or a VALID ID DOCUMENT from each guest (including children). If you do not provide us with the documents in advance, we will not be able to allow you to stay in the apartment.
