The cabin, situated on over 2 acres of riverfront land in the beautiful Northern Neck, Virginia, features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It includes spacious outdoor living areas, an 87 ft dock, a propane grill, a propane firepit, and a large screened outdoor patio. The cabin has an open-concept living room and kitchen. The high-ceiling living room features a comfortable couch, an electronic fireplace, a big-screen TV, a karaoke machine, an Xbox, and more. You can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the river view through the living room window. The screened outdoor patio includes an adjustable dining table that can comfortably fit 8 people. A 100-inch projector screen and HD projector are perfect for movie nights. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and a sitting area with log walls. On the second floor, medium size bedroom have 1 queen-sized bed with workstations (including a keyboard, mouse, and 27-inch HD monitor), and a smaller bedroom has two twin-sized beds. The loft on the second floor serves as a family entertainment area with small party games, board games, a mini-pool table and foosball, an arcade game machine, and more. A leather queen-size sofa bed is also available in the loft. The outdoor space includes a small riverfront patio area with a firepit, seating, and a picnic table. A hammock is situated next to the patio pathway. Brand new kayaks can be easily launched from the new dock on the riverside. A large deck area at the end of the dock is perfect for fishing, sunbathing, and more. Guest access Guests have access to most of the property except the locked basement area, which is used for storage and utility space. Other things to note We are a pet-friendly facility. All pets brought into the house must be approved by the host, included in booking and have proof of flea and tick treatment and updated shot records. There is an additional cleaning and maintenance flat pet fee of $150 per stay. There is an additional fee of $80 per guest per night starting from the 6th guest to accommodate extra cleaning and maintenance needs and to ensure comfortable stay for all guests. Please ensure the correct number of guests and pets are included at the time of booking to allow for proper accommodation. If there are evidences that indicate the booking was made for fewer guests or pets than the actual number staying, we reserve the right to update the booking and charge any applicable extra guest or pet fees through Airbnb. Below are some tips for swimming in fresh water: -Do not enter the water for several days after a significant rainstorm. Storm flows spike bacteria levels, which decrease with time. -Do not swallow water. -Do not enter the water if you have cuts or open sores. These are pathways for bacteria to enter your body. -Wash after swimming. -People with immunosuppressive diseases should avoid direct contact with the river. -Avoid algae blooms (brightly colored water) and trash in the water -Swim/Kayaking/Paddling in freshwater at Your Own Risk No smoking is permited inside and outside the house. No fireworks is permited inside and outside the house Propane tank: If propane runs out during your stay, Food Lion is 5 minutes away and offers refills. Please keep the receipt, and we’ll refund you right away. Our home includes smart features such as Alexa voice assistant, Ring Security, smart TV, smart lighting and others. Guests can freely disable these features during their stay, depending on preference. None of the smart home devices record audio or video and no surveillance feature in home. Please contact the host if you wish to disable the Alexa devices. The home has two, actively recording cameras and two motion recording cameras overlooking both entrances on the first floor of the house (outdoor) which record both video and audio.
