Villa Donna Rachele is a modern villa located just 3 km from Amalfi, in a quiet and panoramic area with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The villa features modern, comfortable interiors and a private outdoor area with a Jacuzzi, BBQ, garden and lounge area. Access to the property requires walking down approximately 90 private steps. A private outdoor parking space is available for guests. The space ACCOMMODATION FEATURES The villa is organised over two floors: GARDEN Area: • Sea view garden, furnished with hydromassage Jacuzzi - Heated (seasonal opening); • Sea view terrace, furnished with Bbq and garden furniture. VILLA: • Terrace overlooking the garden, furnished with a table for outdoor dining; • Mediterranean living room with access to the front terrace, furnished with sofa with peninsula; • Kitchen, open to the living room, with large window overlooking the sea, fully equipped and a table for six; • 2 double bedrooms (bed sizes 160x190) with balcony overlooking the sea; • 1 double bedroom with private terrace and en-suite bathroom with emotional shower; • 2 bathrooms with emotional shower. LOCATION AND NEARBY ATTRACTIONS Villa Donna Rachele is located in the Pogerola area of Amalfi, approximately 3 km from Amalfi town centre. Its location offers a quieter and more residential setting compared to the busy centre of Amalfi, while still providing convenient access to the main attractions of the Amalfi Coast. The centre of Amalfi, with its famous Cathedral, restaurants, cafés, shops and ferry connections, can be reached in a short drive. From Amalfi, guests can also easily travel by ferry or bus to other popular destinations along the coast, including Positano, Ravello, Maiori and Salerno. Due to the villa’s location outside the immediate town centre and the typical layout of the Amalfi Coast, having a car is recommended for greater flexibility and convenience during the stay. Guests should also consider that travelling around the area may involve narrow and winding coastal roads, stairs and pedestrian paths. The location is particularly suitable for guests who prefer to stay away from the busiest tourist areas while remaining within easy reach of Amalfi and the main destinations of the coast. ACCESS AND PARKING Villa Donna Rachele cannot be reached directly by car. Access is exclusively on foot throughout about 80 stairs. For this reason, the property is not recommended for guests who do not enjoy walking, climbing stairs, or who have mobility issues. The villa offers a free private outdoor parking space, reserved for guests and secured with a chain. Please note that the parking area is not covered, enclosed in a garage, or under video surveillance. GETTING AROUND • Due to the villa’s location, having a car is recommended for greater convenience and flexibility during your stay. • Boat excursions from Amalfi (approx. 3km): The most scenic and relaxing way to travel along the coast. Ideal for visiting Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and sea-access-only coves while avoiding traffic and parking issues. • Public buses (SITA and local buses – stop approx. 50 m away): Regular connections to Positano and Amalfi. A practical and economical option, though often crowded and slower during high season. • Private driver: Offers comfort and flexibility, with higher costs compared to public transport and limited availability during peak periods. Advance booking (at least one day ahead) is recommended. • Scooter rental: Provides greater independence in terms of schedules and routes, but is recommended only for experienced riders comfortable with narrow and busy coastal roads. Guest access Guests will have exclusive and full access to the entire property. This includes the villa, all terraced gardens, the barbecue area, and the private Jacuzzi for their exclusive use, ensuring maximum privacy and independence throughout their stay. Other things to note - The villa is NOT in the center of Amalfi, but in a quite residential area. - We offer self check-in for maximum flexibility. If you prefer to be welcomed in person, this can be arranged upon request and subject to availability, within 8:00 PM. - To reach the house, you will need to climb approximately 80 steps, part of a characteristic pedestrian path. - The house cannot be reached by car. - The property is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or for those who do not enjoy walking and climbing stairs. - To get to the villa it is necessary to walk down about 90 private steps. A private parking spot (open-air) is available for the guests of the villa. - Please note that the property is located in a natural Mediterranean setting. As part of the local environment, you may occasionally encounter small insects or wildlife, such as ants, spiders, small insects, or lizards, both in the outdoor areas and, occasionally, inside the house.
